More logic; same CoD Black Ops guy from the OP is able to yank a life sized clone made of wood out of his own body...later, said wood evaporates innto a tiny puff of smoke.

The Flood / Fucking Naruto logic...« on: July 16, 2015, 09:50:38 PM »
So after God knows how many years I've decided to watch Naruto again...some of this shit completely baffles me as to how it's supposed to make sense.
Like this one guy Yamoto is some elite genetically engineered Black Ops agent that Michael Jackson made who is somehow able able to pretty much create an entire plateu in a matter of seconds and then summon a fucking river out of nowhere with no original water source with no fucking effort, but then he gets his ass handed to him in seconds by some kid who does nothing but make himself into a tazer and making his eyes kinda (not realy) creepy looking... How is this shit so popular? Do people just not notice this shit? 8855

I guess what I realy want to say is, id make a horrible dictator, since I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation to hurt a lot of people I strongly disagree with. I'm sure you're all glad I'm not a dictator and frankly so am I. I am pretty impulsive and I even wrote my list without thinking too hard, and I'd probably rule the same way.

An artificially created intelligence could decide to do any number of things, it could help us, or conversely it could go Verbatim on us and come to a conclusion that life is a bad thing and should be eliminated, an then hack the whole planet and nuke us. 8862

If we ever do develop a truely self aware AI in the near future we are going to be extreme cautious about how we handle it.

Inb4 we all get quarian'd.
But seriously, self aware A.I is extremely an extremely dangerous prospect and if this post is true it should shut off until we are more sophisticated to the point where we can deal with both the moral issues this bring up as well as the potential dangers. A should design should be researched far more before we begin putting it into practice. 8867

Regarding Reach, I understand why people don't like it, but personally I enjoyed the game quite a lot. Custom games and forge were fantastic.Even with 3 and Reach?343i a shit What, did Kat run you over one too many times? I get that Reach contradicted events from a book the large majority of the Fanbase didn't read and events did need to be rectoned because of it but seriously, other than that nothing other than that was bad. Definitely not the best but, it was still a fun game to play through. 8871

I agree with that, but people are so concerned over a cosmetic breach of the constitution which doesn't threaten their civil liberties.Having religious motto's on government buildings is enough to path way to more religious things being in something they don't belong in. One day it's this motto and the next day they're forcing it by teaching about the bible in public schools. Religion shouldn't have any appearance on or in government related things and if it does it shouldn't be targeting a single one out of all the religions we have in this country. Yet when Christians say stuff like this, it's a "slippery slope fallacy" 8874
