yeah, about that...
Hopefully Halo 5 improves on other areas.
So far I like it for the most part. Kill cams and ADS bother me but I won't judge it until I played it enough. The beta was fun.
Killcam canbe turned off as per the changes made after the Beta. If you turn it off you get the regular follow-cam.
Also ADS(Smart Scope) is a fancy zoom, with dropping out of it after getting shot. Except it made the Assault Rifle WAY too powerful in the beta.
It made the AR a viable weapon.
The weapons are getting tweaked anyway.

Just stop. That map was fucking awful.
Then stop trying to play invasion and hogball on it. I garuntee your experience will improve tremendously. And you are under the impression that I think Reach's story is perfect, which I don't. I acknowledge its canon breaking flaws, and lore wise it probably would have been better as a fall of reach adaptation instead of noble team's story, but I do still think the campaign if you can get past that is serviceable on its own. It's definitely not the best halo story told, but as the story of the last days of a planet goes I think it does pretty alright. The charachters other than Jorge were definitely lacking, but I was having to much fun with actualy playing to realy care.

When it comes down to the brutes or the prophets talking to the arbiter it's straight up English without any software. Whenever the mention a species during that it should be the actual name, not the nickname. it's in english because it's translated for the player so we know what they're saying. canonically they aren't speaking english.
it's literally the same reason why movies do it - so the viewer knows what they're fucking saying.
I know it's like MGS 3 when that scientist guy tells Snake he's speaking good Russian when they're talking in English. To me it's just out of place having the members call each other those nicknames. When it comes down to names to me it makes more sense having the Covenant call each other the real name and for the humans they use their nicknames. Having the characters and NPC's speaking English is easier but when it comes down to names I think they should be using the real name for it. It's not out of place and it doesn't brake immersion.

We all know he could have taken Thel's fleet on his own, but he had to restrain himself, lest he accidentally destroy Reach with his rugged good looks and clever one-liners.
Buck was the real reason the Halo Array was created. The Forerunners knew there was no weapon they could create powerful enough to vanquish the galaxy of Nathan Fillion's predecessors destroying the Forerunner fleet with raw charm.
The logic plague the Gravemind uses is actualy just a description of Buck; it causes all that hear about him to feel extremely inadequate and go insane (or rampant in the case of AI like Mendicate Bias)
