I'm not saying I was right for following the ESRB when I was a kid. I just don't think it's complicated as to the reasons why. I didn't like to watch rated-R movies when I was a kid, either--because I knew that they weren't for me.
As I said on the first page--I don't even care about it anymore. As far as I'm concerned, what games a kid plays should be left up to his or her parents.

It's your responsibility as a parent to decide and enforce what is appropriate for your child, not the responsibility of companies. The ESRB is garbage anyway, there's double standards everywhere. Halo has nothing worse that Metroid Prime yet one is rated M and the other is T. And E10 was such a contrivance.

The banning system does seem pretty nifty, that way no user can just use the most OP weapons. I'm guessing the ban rate of a gun will lead to nerfs and buffs
If that system was in Advanced Warfare, the BAL would pe practically nonexistent.
