Dude, they implemented a "FInd a Player" function months ago so you can access the file share of anyone you want.
Which is still vastly subpar to the systems of old.
The File Browser system was mostly filled with shit content. If I wanted the good gametypes, I just searched for the player who had them through the File Browser, which is identical to what I'm doing when I use the Find a Player function.
Besides, Bungie Favorites > File Browser.
The old B.Net File browser shits on literally EVERYTHING 343 have done for fileshares. The fact that a youtube video of the map could just link you to the Map and game-type made the whole thing.

To me, Halo 5 actually has the best gameplay mechanics of any Halo game since 3. Like, it plays extremely well.
But
Holy fuck
There is SO LITTLE content in this game, it's ridiculous.
I think the base gameplay is fun.
But the multiplayer is just frustrating, I rarely feel like I've been killed because the other guy was better than me.
Custom games is the one thing this game has left to offer me, and it doesn't even seem to have that, because a certain statement made by the multiplayer lead means we won't be getting social playlists any time soon. Have fun reading that conversation.

I get that people are upset about specific custom games but I feel like a lot of people are underestimating the creativity of the halo community. I am sure there will be plenty of fun custom game types to go along with forge maps. What people should actually be worried about is a file sharing system. Forge maps and Custom games are wastes of time for a community if there is no good way to share them.
This, The late ass file-share did nothing to help Halo 4 and MCC still doesnt fucking have one. What kind of retarded shit is it to have to scroll through the fucking campaign leaderboards to find one person to find their fileshare. How do you get something so perfect in Halo 3 and Reach and then butcher it so hard?

Forge means NOTHING to me without Infection. Sorry, but infection gametypes are literally the funnest aspect of Halo custom games for a giant chunk of the community. Until it's in the game, I'm not touching customs at all.
Yeah, exept for some stuff in Reach, literaly all of the good custom games are infection, and the non infection fun stuff you can probably count on 1 hand -Invasion (on THFEs maps) -Toilet (and those other weird Golf ball games) -Tank Wars -Snipe-a-Mole -Armor Walkers -Trench Warfare

Campaign gameplay is great but the story sucks massive cock.
Most misleading marketing campaign ever.
What hurts is that there was so much going for it, I loved where the ending left the series at, I loved the War for Sanghelios, but the whole thing felt like filler that only began to go somewhere at the end.
