Dont know if that's what it was. the Hit detection was fine, (I think, It's hard to tell if the hotboxes are actualy correct when everyone's possition is so fucked up, but I was hitting shots alright when my aim wasnt garbage) and it's the first time anything on this scale has happened in any Halo for me

I guess it's my own fault for assuming 21 multiplayer maps means 21 individual maps. Or for thinking the game would have some incentive to play other than grinding for scout warthogs.

Well, here we are at Halo 5, and look what's happened.
I never did that, though. After halo 4, I thought 343 were a good studio. But I guess schlerf leaving and a new attitude to make the game only ranked has made 343 very different from the people who made 4.
Throughout Halo 5's development in the past year, 343i's been continually stating that they never want Halo 4 to happen again.
I presumed that meant catering to all the community. Not just one segment of it.
I mean to be fair I kinda saw it coming with how hard they were trying to cram E-Sports up everyone's ass with both Halo 5 and MCCs promotions, but they still managed to go far more overboard than I expected.

I mean Jeez as much of a disaster as the Master Chief Collection was at least they got the damn ranking system in terms of having competitive and social right in that game. What the hell made them them into such Nazis about ranks? When they added infection to MCC matchmaking they didn't rank it.
