I dont know if you can mill in Yu but I assume yes. Unless the opponent has Exodia or something silly like that.
Milling has been a massive part of Yu-Gi-Oh ever since lightsworns came out. having cards in your own graveyard and thinning out your deck is integral to more than a few decks so more often than not you end up intentionaly milling your own cards.

Magic The Gathering is equally as broken from what i hear. There's apparently cards that can remove all of your opponent's mana from the game.
I usually just use Crackling Doom + Howl of the Horde to kill everything.

For the Forbidden One I know you have a low chance of completing it, but it' still bullshit you can end the game with it.
Exodia itself is not overpowered, it doen't even win tounraments, which is why it isn't banned, but the problem is that it promotes such a horribly degenerate playstyle, and it's not fun to play against ever. Exodia users always take 300 years to finish their turns and then when you finally get the chance to attack (if you get the chance) they can just drop one of several cards and stop your battle phase altogether. now you gave to wait another billion Eons, hoping RNG dosn't let him auto game you before you can play again.

Hasn't Yugioh been a shit tier card game since its inception though?
Yu-Gi-Oh! has always had some pretty bad shit. It started out absolutely terrible, in fact with First turn wins and cards like Yatta Garasu that would literally lock the opponent out of playing altogether. That mostly get fixed when the ban-list was introduced and they limited certain aspects of deck building. It was never well ballanced, there were always clear tiers, but it was balanced enough that it was still playable and fun as long as you were using something that wasn't designed to be complete garbage. Anything that got way too out of hand got banned or limited. Some cards that would have broken the game were caught before they were even released and reballanced accordingly. Then you get to 2011 when zeXal came out and they tried to make the game apeal more to children and the power creep began to get more and more insane, untill it finaly began to crack in 2013 when they created Dragon Rulers, which, was no exaggeration so fucking overpowered that the deck almost played itself. They recived several "nerfs" via the ban list but remained Overpowered as fuck untill one card just made them so fucking overpowered Konami had to ban the deck outright. And Ironically it was immediately after that all semblance of game balance began falling to pieces, because all the decks since then, in mid-2015, have been twice as overpowered as Dragon rulers. For fucks sake, one deck; qliphorts could literally spam the Egyptian god cards and get free draws off of them but the funniest part is that that the Egyptian god cards were considered too weak for the deck and nobody ran them.

On top of this, every turn at the end (both player's turns) which the card remains on the field, every monster the opposing player controls loses a significant portion of it's attack power, and in the unfortunate case that one has no monsters on the field, they instantly lose 1000 life points, an eight of their original total. Do people at Konami even think about the shit they make before they peddle it out?

It's absolutely insane just how OP the DMR still is compared to the BR even after Halo 4, and then they don't even at least have a good unlock system like Halo 4 did.
The only reason I want the DMR is so I literally won't ever need to use power weapons again.
My sole purpose at this point is to just make the game miserable for the other team.
DMR accomplishes that harder than anything else in the game. When I get it, I'll just be that one asshole who uses damage boosts and active camo.
