I really hope we don't have to. It's worse in Dark Souls 3 than it was in DS2 and especially 1. I have my fingers crossed for From to release a patch and improve the current situation.
Yeah, and as if estocs weren't bad enough alone, the netcode makes it feel as if the edge if their blade was also firing a laser beam across map with each poke.

The entirety of Cardfight Vanguard's second season was turboshit from the depths of hell itself. Not until Halo Escalation have I seen something absolutely butcher the entire series is such a profound way. An entire season worth of character development went out the window along with the most iconic cards in the game all so they could promote some new deck that remains a pile of dogshit to this day. I literally dropped the show and the card game for a couple of years due to how godawful just the show alone was.
But then the second half season 3 happened and everything was good again.

Can someone explain the fun of the pvp because as far as I can tell it's just getting killed by phantom hits and invading into 3 v 1 situations
Phantom hits are something you just kind of have to get used to. Treat every weapon like it has one and a half times its actual length. You also have to sort of make sure your own hits are well predicted almost perfectly on point too, since sometimes the lag makes it look like people are rolling out of clear hits. One thing to know is that allot of the R1 Combo's can now be parried out of their second or third hit because of this game's mechanics.
I haven't been ganked often so I don't know what to tell you about it, although Iv'e been seeing a youtube video on countering gankers popping up in my feed. I'll try too see if it's any good and post it.
I mean my phantom hits are like across the room and in a 360 degree radius, people hit me when I'm behind them and when I've rolled 3 times consecutively away
Yeah, Dark Souls has never had a good netcode. You kind of have to expect it somewhat and hope to God you get a decent enough opponent that this doesn't happen. The McDonald's Wi-Fi Covenant will always be far more overpowered than any hacker.

As for my Favorite boss it's definitely the Undead Legion at this point. That was a cool as hell fight,
Dont heal the sigil, you need it for the true ending. Also her questline is great. Just kill her after you finish the game. All you get is that shitty dark drift anyway.
