The Walking Dead. It's probably on an equal with GoT, I'd say.
The Walking Dead is the western equivalent of Shonen Anime that exist for the sole purpose of milking itself for all eternity. There's intriguing plots and characters and all but after a while it dawns on you that the Zombie Apocalypse is never going to end and They're never going to find One Piece either.

Forward Unto Dawn was pretty good. It was Nightfall that was a lot worse.
This. Nightfall was so poinless. There wasn't any bearing on the universe other than killing off some obscure character that nobody gave a shit about anyway, and nothing about it carries over to Locke's Character within Halo 5. You want a breakdown and analysis, Ok, it's shit because it's unfocused and unfunny. You try to make fun of the req system and do a parody of poorly made machinimas at the same time and fail at both, partly because neither of those topics compliment each other for any jokes, and then it doesn't even manage to be absurd enough to be funny just for that. It's supposed to be a parody of bad machinimas yet all it accomplishes is being a bad machinima because there is no self awareness about it. It does not acknowledge the apparently intentional flaws or make fun of poorly made machinima's aspects like the shaky cam or bad audio, it just copies it. And then it fails on the aspect of legitimately criticizing or deconstructing the flaws the Req System because 99% of it is nothing muffled unfunny dialogue followed by someone saying "Buy Req packs" as if saying that somehow constitutes as a joke. However, I will give you credit for one thing though, the closest thing you came to a good joke was when they killed Locke for pre-ordering his armor.

I don't get the "delay the game" argument with Halo 5. The game was finished. It had enough content to ship and all other content is being released for free over time. It was still gonna take the same amount of time to finish other content either way so why not just give the game to people anyway since it was ready? I really don't get how delaying a finished game would have changed anything. We get the same amount of content either way, but in this situation we get the content sooner rather than later.

You know, when 343 said we'd get free DLC, I honestly thought they meant original quality content. Not ripping out old options that have been in Halo as early as Combat Evolved and as late as Halo 3 and "selling" it back to us as new content. Fuck me as a consumer, right?

Sorry to say, but there isn't much green there. And this is just what 343 has added to the game. This isn't even going into the limited custom game options, the rudimentary forging options, and all the gamemodes 343 has decided to leave out as of now.
Most of those are new content? It's not like you can just reskin all the shit from past games idiot. How about you read the fucking point. It takes time to get all that into games. There is an abundance of new weapons and armor. There are new maps. Snipers and Theatre were both in from the start. You obviously are complaining for the sake of complaining. You don't understand how a game is made nor how content releasing works. Kys.

No, I just care about the game franchise and I am willing to make points to defend it where it deserves to be defended. I think there is a large amount of bs in Halo 5, but I am also gonna defend what 343 has done right. It's this cool new thing called caring about your investments and being a logical human being.

The parts about the Pilots are really interesting. I always thought it was strange than McAllan would disapear during the battle of Demiter, but the sub dermal implants for the cloaking tech sheds a bit more light on that.
