I bet you if the exact same trailers had the opposite name on it the reactions would still be the same as according to the franchise. It comes down to people just being on the CoD hate bandwagon and that's it. I have no idea what the fuck that is 4898

Call of Duty: One would still have the same dislike ratio and every comment on Battlefield: Infinite Warfare would be "RIP CoD Blimps" and we'd all be sucking Patrick Bach's dick for the" bold inovation" of introducing space battles to the series. 4899
Gaming / Re: New Battlefield World Premiere« on: May 08, 2016, 03:37:20 PM »Why are Battlefield conversions always more about CoD than they are about Battlefield?Just need to go on the trailers comment section to just see it flooded with people bashing CoD. That's the kicker isnt it. Battlefield is exactly that. A bloody large scale battlefield with vehicles destructibility and a bit more realism. CoD on the other hand may have started out kinda Counter Strike-ish but it's moved to being more arcade-y style of game more about gaining the momentum in the match and stomping the other team into the ground. There's no vehicle combat, and there's also a heavier emphasis on solo merit. Who says you have to enjoy one or the other? 4901
Gaming / Re: New Battlefield World Premiere« on: May 08, 2016, 03:09:25 PM »Why are Battlefield conversions always more about CoD than they are about Battlefield? This is like the first thread on BF that I've seen CoD come up more than once. Yeah, but I meant in a more general sense. Not really here specifically, in fact just about not at all here. But everywhere else any given battlefield discussion or comments section that isn't about a very specific aspect of the game always defaults to "CoD sucks" rather than anything about Battlefield itself. Nobody seems to care that we're finally getting Battleships back, instead they all seem to care more about comparing the game to CoD. TBH the CoD vs Battlefield shit is the most artificial manufactured rivalry between games iv'e seen. The result is rather ironic too. The CoD and Battlefield communities seem so have flipped in roles terms of being toxic and cancerous from only a few years ago. 4902

The Flood / The American Measurement system is fucking retarded.« on: May 08, 2016, 02:43:35 PM »
I mean seriously. The metric system is perfect.
You have meters and grams as the basics and then you have kilo and mili (proper fucking prefixes) and so on to describe larger and smaller increments. Perfectly intuitive and makes complete sense. Now what the fuck do we have here? Feet and yards. Literally what? I'm pretty sure the average person's foot aint no 12 inches long, and Iv'e never seen a 36inch long yard anywhere. What do any of these names even have to do with each other. What retarded kind of standardization pulls names form random shit for their random ass intervals, speaking of which why are the increments so fucking random? Metric makes sense with thousandths (mili), hundredths (centi) a single unit and than a thousand times (killo) Meanwhile in lolMurica we go by the most random bullshit. First increments of 12 (Inches to feet) then 3 (Feet to Yards) and then 1760 (Yards to miles) out of fucking nowhere. Who the hell came up with this shit? 4904
