I don't know if I would call it hate, but after a few months people's thoughts on the film became less positive after that "oh thank goodness it's not as bad as the prequels" phase was over and the flaws of the film became more apparent.
Honestly i'm seeing a whole fuck ton of outright hatred for the film recently. And alot of it still revolves about this Rey is a Marry Sue stuff.

I cant find the exact thread now, but out wasn't any more than a year back that they were having a massive bitch fit because somebody posted the navy seal coppypasta. They resorted to constantly citing "Stolen Valor" even though it's a dead bill that was ruled unconstitutional years ago

Just got back from the movie. It was just about what I expected. Not my favorite Star Wars movie by a mile nor was it Clone Wars but it aint no Attack of the Clones either. Spoiler I liked Black Box K-2SO.
Vader was...eh, his voice put me off. At least it wasnt batttlefront bad.
Leah's ship's escape was an aspect I was not a fan of either.
