Get rid of spartan abilities and sprint and fix the fucking aiming and we'll be all good
SAs are fine with the exception of maybe Sprint and shoulder charge, and I'd even argue those are problems just because every single arena map is the same 4 inch wide jungle gym. As for the aiming just change the acceleration and it's fine. It should have never been set to what is was in the first place though.

Tom "Best Girl" French is the new Multiplayer director. Forge is guaranteed to be amazing, but what about the current ballane and mechanics. I honestly hope they dont change those up too much from 5 as far as movement and gunplay.
They will have to have Reqs because (((microsoft))) but my hope is that they at least leave the base armor and weapon variants out of it, and save some for actual achievements like Legendary completion.

I will concede this: Hexes, and Dark Magic in DkS1 are bullshit. There is no arguing that in the slightest. The reason to why Fromsoft decided to give nobody but casters any from of Dark Defense eludes me, hell not even casters had that in DkS1.
Agree. Plus, dark magic made PvE a cakewalk. Once you got Dark Bead/Pursuer it was easy mode.
Edit: Forgot about the Silver Pendant in regards to defense from Dark Magic.
Silver pendant actually broke Pursuers even more, since the person casting it could use it to launch them early.

Bows and throwing knives are trash, though.
Dont sleep on the composite bow.The human Cactus meta will punish you for your disbelief. The other bows are Good for a good portion stuff other than bosses, granted that you actualy play them like they are bows. And don't get me started on throwing knives. Everyone in the arena toss them like confetti 24/7 and the fact that they deal more damage than Soul Arrows and can be rolled out of is some injustice.

Melee is usually regarded as harder because you actually have to roll/block things, where as mage you take things out from a distance.
I can vouch for that. I play with a 2-handed Zwei/Claymore 90% of the time and you really do have to learn to roll the fuck through everything.
Do you actually believe that you avoid CQC at all as a mage? I swear I'm somehow buying complete completely separate games from literaly everyone else on this site that just happen to have the same exact name.

Are you starting over from SL1, or did you just respec? Because I'd argue that melee builds are much more difficult at lower levels when you can't absorb tons of damage and quickly kill enemies. At low levels, pyro and magic allow you to kite and kill at range, which is drastically easier.
I started from the begining. Bandit class. Ive just killed Velstadt and got the King's ring. I'm at SL 126 21 Vig 20 Vit 30 End 40 Str 40 Dex 17 Adpt 1 Int 8 Faith 2 Atn Armor: Royal Swordman's helm Dark Armor Havel's Gaunlets Havel's Leggings Chloranthy ring+1 Knight's Ring+1 Second Dragon Ring Stone Ring Weapons: Raw Broken Stunlock Spear +4 *Blossom Kite shield (Tower shield during some bosses.) *Avelyn +10
