Jeez I dont see how you can stand the pokemon TCG. I played that online just yesterday and it was a clusterfuck of RNG. One guy did nothing but confuse my Pokemon and then dropped a bunch of cards on his pokemon so that even if my attacks did go through, they did nothing, so what resulted was about 40 minnutes waiting for my pokemon just to knock themselves out.

Twenty years of power-creep and now games end in three turns. They really should have stopped at Synchro but even that was pushing it.
discuss shit metagames ITT Yeah. Synchro would have been a fine stopping point. It was fun and 5Ds was probably the last good Yugioh series. (I haven't seen Vrains yet) In fact things were already getting a bit out of hand even then when you had stuff You had Six Sams, Plant synchro and I believe, Laval Quazar was a thing by then too,

This was probably the most fun fighting a boss in DS2.
Thee Questions: Why the Vessel Shield instead of one of the Grasscrest-style sheilds? Did you seriously farm ALL those lifegems or did you just buy them with the souls you didnt use to level? Got invaded by a non-NPC, and if so how did it go? (Speaking of invasions, it always blows my mind that the NPC phantoms have such obscenely inflated HP.)

I really cant not get over the shitty level design in DS2, every time I try to get into the game again the design just reminds me why I never bother
Yeah 2 is an absolute slog to play through, but the PvP is totally worth it IMO. My latest play through on my first melee build reminded my how absolutely meh all of the bosses are. There are like 3 memorable areas in the base game, 2 of which are just cancer and all the rest are just fucking boring.

I remember that comment but not his name. He was one of the lead designers if I remember correctly. That man's career belongs in a fucking casual playlist. Hopefully wtith Forge King Tom French in charge we wont have t deal with that.
