Oh you don't understand useless teammates until you play with me on Amateur Chieftain Memorabilia

Spoiler

Lord Jesus where do you people find these people? I remember playing big team with Deci a while back, and while the opponents were certainly bad, it wasn't anything even remotely like this.

About halfway through the story now, some early impressions:
-Gunplay is pretty much the same as Destiny 1, which is a good thing. No pointless changes or gimmicks added, just a bit more refined. Movement feels a little slow, though.
-PvE is very easy. Enemies are varied with the exception of the Fallen who are fairly bland to fight and don't offer much variety. Fun but not particularly challenging.
-Plenty of cutscenes with actual characters in them, Dominus Ghaul seems like an alright villain
-Game feels less grindy, there are miny-story missions called Adventures in each Patrol Zone which can keep you occupied alongside the main story. Patrol zones now have actual maps that you can view which is very handy.
-Main story is an improvement too, pacing is much better than Destiny 1's missions and there are fewer firefight sections, thank god
-Game looks beautiful, soundtrack is just as good as the first game's
-Crucible is alright so far. The two modes I've played (Supremacy and Survival) are enjoyable enough. Shotguns seem a bit OP though but they're a power weapon now.
-Director is much improved; you now no longer have to go to orbit to go to other places

Overall, fairly solid so far. Basically Destiny 1 but much, much better.

This is great to hear. This is now on my radar again unless something comes up that changes these impressions.

Gwyn from Dark Souls 1, not because of how hard he was (he wasn't), but just the kinda sadness that goes with it

Wind Waker Ganondorf. Guy had a backstory that actually developed and I legit felt for him, and he simply lost all that kept him going at the end (Verb understands~)

Cynthia from Pokemon D/P. One of the few highlights in an otherwise meh game. Amazing music, and one of the hardest, if not the hardest champion in the entire series.

YouTube

Kefka and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 6 and 7 respectively. Easily the two best final boss themes in the entire game and the buildup to fighting them feels so great.

What do people find sad about Gwyn? Lore-wise he's a supreme cunt who deserves far worse than the smack down that you give him.

Aslo thanks for bringing up Pokemon, I forgot to include Red in Gold and Silver on my list.

Turning flying enemies into sheep and ducks when playing Ratchet and Clank was always fun
Speaking of which are the older Ratchet and Clanks available for PS4 or would have to go actually find a PS2 to play.

But why didn't he make sure we were dead before removing us from his aircraft

Well he is a rather sizable individual

Yall know how much I fucking complain about Dark Souls 3, but even then, Slave Knight Gael is probably the most fun I've ever had fighting a boss in any game period, solo or co-op. And honestly I do feel bad for complain as much as I do. I know you all are sick of it, but I just feel I have to vent some times.

The Raids in Destiny are all unironicly great too, except for Crota, and the final bosses for them are all some of the best Co-Op segments of any FPS, which is a shame considering how lackluster and uninstpired the rest of the game's level design is.

Mother Brain in Super Metroid is honestly not the best fight mechanically but for what it did in terms of storytelling it earns one of my top spots.

Streamed a bunch of Quake but didn't really have any people watching Dark Souls, so I haven't continued any of that.
I wold have liked to have watched but my shitternet cant handle 720p 60FPS and Twitch for whatever reason would not let me lower my streaming quality

Waver is gonna have his drop rate up, should I spend the rolls?

best support caster until merlin shows up.

but are you a waifu/husbando guy or a gameplayfag?

Sorta both, I mainly want to roll  Waver, The whole Emiya family and Lancelot just cause I like them, but the fact that waver apparantly combos well with Merlin is a huge bonus.

well if you husbando waver and you also want him for gameplay go for it. just be aware that he comes up for rate up multiple times and he's permanently in every gacha so if there's a limited person you want (like iskandar) you can wait for the limited + waver rate up and attempt to pick both up at the same time.

Speaking of which, how is this Berserker guy?

Man do you really think they're serious about ending Halo after Halo 4?

I know alot of people arent so thrilled with the multiplayer (I dont think its anywhere as good as Halo 2 but It's fine for what it is) But they cant just end the story there, it was just too good. I want to see how Chief copes with Cortana's death. And Didact has to be alive, that was way to anticlimactic to kill him off. And there's so many other loose ends like Guilty Spark being alive and the flood possibly coming back. I don't want this to be the end.

Overrated, too many flaws.

Bloodborne is perfect.

The PvP is shit and estus is gone.

At least Dark Souls 1 has the glitches to make it's PvP (ironicly) less broken.

Dark Souls 2 is shit outside of PVP and Dark Souls 3 is just shit
