>Movement speed from Fat Kid in Halo Reach
Subtlety trying to prove that Halo needs sprint when there is zero reason for it's existence.
Not even. Halo has had good movement speed without sprint. We all know this. Hell Halo 5 would play a billion times better if they took sprint out and just upped the base move speed. In this playlist though you're practically walking in place.

tomorrow it will have been 2 years since the death of halo
Don't worry. It will come back as the main antagonist of the next console generation with no explaination whatsoever

Playing MCC MP. Voting comes up.
Options:
Halo 2 / Halo 3 / Halo 4
Halo 4 gets 2 votes right away
No one else votes for anything like they actually don't mind playing H4 MP. Does anyone here unironically play H4 MP over H2 / H3?
Big Team or Slayer? Also both Halo 2 and Halo 4 blow Halo 3 out of the water regardless

I still don't understand what gamergate was about. Just seemed like /v/ stirring shit up
People throwing a fit over game jounalism being shit as it has always been.
There was some thing that set it off about a dev fucking some kotaku guy for coverage of her shitty powerpoint presentation she was selling on steam. The news blew up, in response a bunch of game journalist sites got together and published a bunch of identical articles declaring "gamers are dead". Somehow Anita Sarkeesian's name ends up involved. World War 3 begins on twitter. Phil Fish continues to be a sperglord as normal.
Stop masturbating to anime

Top 10 Saddest Anime Deaths Dear Halo Fans, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Justin Lewis aka JJSureshot and I’m the admin of the Halo Universe fan page. I've been a fan of Halo since Halo Combat Evolved's first announcement back in 1999 (I was only 10 years old back then) here’s a trailer for reference.
Prior to Halo, I had never played a first person shooting game. I was primarily a fan of games like Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Twisted Metal. Halo changed everything for me. It wasn’t that I was a fan of the shooting part of the game, but rather the fun moments the game brought. The LAN parties, the first time I ever played online, the super jumps, the glitches, you know.. those kind of moments.
It’s 16 years later and I still look back at those moments in gaming. They were the start and end of something quite beautiful. In 2014, I met my now wife. For the first few months of our relationship I had no clue how much of a fan of Halo she would be. One day I fired up the Xbox 360, loaded in Halo: Reach and she grabbed a second controller and exclaimed, “I want to play too!”. We would jump between Halo: Reach and Halo 4, sometimes even going back to classics like Halo 3. With all of these games we were able to play split-screen and with a group of our friends online.
In 2015, as we started to travel the country (we’ve lived in 10 states since then from Virginia, to California, to Oregon, all the way back to the East Coast in Florida) we would load up one of the many Halo games. You see, we had an RV, so we’d typically be on open land or at a campground far away from a wifi connection. We would instead use our hotspots to play online, which actually worked quite well. Then... one day... in 2015... my Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 died.
Justin Lewis and the Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 Instead of going out and buying another Xbox 360. I traded my car.. yes.. my car to my nephew for his Xbox One. It wasn’t a super expensive car, but it was worth 15x the cost of the Xbox One at the time.. You see.. my nephew wanted a car and I wanted an Xbox One. Fair trade. When I got home (to my RV at the time) I turned on the Xbox One and proceeded to wait approx. 5 days for the update to download (remember I was using a hotspot). A few weeks later, Halo 5: Guardians released. Being the admin of the Halo Universe fan page has a lot of great perks.. I’m connected with some really great YouTubers, streamers, artists, cosplayers, etc. but I made sure not to get too deep into knowing how Halo 5: Guardians was going to play out. So... I go to a local Gamestop, pick up Halo 5: Guardians, get back to the RV and... I wait. I literally waited 1 week for the game to fully install onto my Xbox One to play it.. it was ridiculous. But hey.. I was patient. I wanted to play the game with my, then, girlfriend. If you’ve played Halo 5: Guardians you know how the rest of this story goes. At first we played the game together tossing the controller back and forth with the headset after each game. At one point we had two controllers and two headsets and would both join into a party chat to talk to our friends. Eventually, in 2016, that enthusiasm died. It wasn’t as fun playing a game individually. We wanted to play together.. Halo 5 makes that impossible to do without 2 Xbox One’s and 2 TV’s. So near the end of 2016 we had an apartment in California with a roommate. He had an Xbox One and TV and we turned our entire living room into a gaming heaven. We’d load up Halo 5 on both TV’s and proceeded to wreck havoc like we had split-screen. We laughed, we screamed, we felt like kids again. It was great.. for about a week. The setup was too chaotic and eventually we decided to put it back to normal.
Split-screen was the hallmark of the Halo experience. It was the reason I’d been such a huge fan of the Halo series. The campaigns are fun.. the multiplayer is fun.. but without split-screen it just completely ruined my enjoyment. It’s because of this fact that I no longer own an Xbox One or Halo 5. On October 8th, 2017, I traded my Xbox One (along with every game I owned and had installed) for a guitar. Yes... a guitar. You see... there was a guy who had a wife who wanted to play Halo with his wife. And I was a guy with a wife that wanted to learn how to play guitar with my wife. I wish that guy all the luck in the world. I await Halo 6, when split-screen returns.
Justin Lewis Halo Universe P.S. I’m still a fan of the Halo series. I actually really enjoyed Halo 5’s multiplayer.. but without split-screen it’s no longer a fun experience for me.
