lol if you can't even tell they're gay, you're too much of a brainlet to waste time talking to.

There was precived sexual tension at least on Griffith's side but it was written to be a bit more ambiguous and complex than that. Griffith is a weird-ass sociopath and it isn't actual clear if his love for Guts is platonic, romantic, or of he just see's him as property.
Guts is completely strait for all we can tell.

as hard as the internet has crusaded against anything remotely "edgy" these days, i'm very confused as to why this manga has such a huge following
because big dude big sword chop monster scary bad, he wear black but is good guy, very deep.

The over-the-top violence and shock value is indeed what probably draws people initially, (That's why garbage like Elfin Lied gets popular) but even beyond that, it has legitimately well written characters and relationsips, and a world that legitimately has more going on than Edge Lordsman and his crew.

I see people complaining about the way Yoda acted in TLJ, how his more 'jokey' personality was just an act to trick Luke, and it ruined him by making him act like that again.

Is anyone else... really not bothered at all by it? Like yeah Yoda could be deadly serious, but who's to say he could never be genuinely cheeky and more relaxed when he wanted to be? Is he supposed to be 100% serious ALL the time? If he wants to have fun, let him.

I don't see why people would be put off by it. Especially since he showed that side of himself to varying degrees all throughout Clone Wars.

Honestly what bothered me with that scene was how unconvincing the puppet was, when they managed to pull it off well enough all those years ago. It's actually worst than the one in the Phantom Mennace

Weird alien shit in the new Star Wars:

- Rathtars in TFA
- Tentacle monster in Rogue One
- Alien Tits in TLJ

Seems to be a pattern here. Wonder what weird alien shit will be in Ep 9.

Plot Twist: Vien is the one designing all of this.

datk souls 2 doesnt even feel like a dark souls game. its clunky and delayed and ugly. theres nothing but mechanical improvement made when comparing the controls of dark souls 1 and 3. whoever recommended i play the series backwards is a complete fucking green eggs and sham.

Best pvp in the series.

dark souls pvp was a mistake and belongs in the bin
It's fine when it nails it for the most part

Dark Souls 2 being the one that mostly nailed it. DS1's connection was terrible, DS2's was the stupid sword buffs, DS3 was shit was way too fast because Big M had to stroke his Bloodborne dick and squirt it on Dark Souls 3 a bit. Hated that shit.
You're all fags. Of the 300 hours I have on the first Dark Souls half of that was PvP. Apart from hackers and people who did nothing but backstab or spam magic, it was great. People would usually fight fair. Backstabs are a perfectly legitimate move anyways, only suckers cry about them.

DkS1's backstabs were legit busted mechanically. Without the glitches to exploit they could be inescapably chained. Then Souls 1's poise had the exact opposite problem from 3 where poise is utterly absurd as opposed to being virtually nonexistent. It goes full circle to where button mashing becomes easy to exploit, especially with the stunlock potential of stuff like the Zwihander.

So does this actually change the established lore on how hypersapce works in Star Wars? I always thought they travelled to another dimension or something, but now it's just moving REALLY fast?

Hyperspace has always been effectively moving really fast through real space, just hand-waved with "mass shadows" and other bullshit.

Just saw TLJ,  thought it was pretty good.

Spoiler
I got really excited when Finn was about to die, because his character blows.
I think most of the problems come from the director just trashing JJ's stories; every revelation felt jarring and contrived. The fact the Resistance is literally a handful of ships with nothing else is stupid. I don't really have anything unique to say at this point...though it's good to see that the dark side ending of Jedi Academy is now canon.

Also, ships can just track other ships through hyperspace, which is all sorts of dumb

And "battering ram cannon", "miniature death star tech"... come on.
Spoiler
FUCKING RIGHT

IN WHAT SITUATION WOULD THEY EVER NEED THAT WEAPON EXCEPT THIS VERY SPECIFIC ONE

... Sieges?

I feel like having something with that capability on hand would be fairly useful.
it's impossibly specific

'they're in a bunker immune to artillery and the only way in or out is a big door and we need a lot of space to set this up so it has to be near a huge field that the door faces'

Spoiler
Goes back to what I said about how it should have been a ship mounted cannon on a dreadnought.

I agree but you'd think they'd use something like that as the bombardment cannons for the dreadnought or smoke's ship instead of being a clunkey ground based thing.
In fact this movie feels like it has nerfed Star Wars' tech quite a bit. Not necessarily a bad thing, but that's how I perceived it.
