Serious / Re: Smith & Wesson retirement plan« on: September 19, 2015, 04:38:22 PM »
I would blame it on people being majorily irresponsible in their prime. These people buy expensive houses and cars relative to what they earn; then they just gotta bring a kid or two into the world because reasons. By the time the kids are grown and put through college, a half dozen cars have been gone through, and that house is payed off, they're outta their prime with only a few years to save up before what's considered retirement age.
In this day and age, most people shouldn't have kids and should live in smaller, more respectable houses. I'm sure the hundreds of thousands saved would easily cover retirement. Unfortunately, these same people feel entitled to have children to waste money on only to come up short themselves in the end. Now they want society to pay for them. 698

Serious / Re: Are school officials too jumpy recently?« on: September 17, 2015, 09:02:35 AM »Spoiler I don't really see a problem with them taking this as a threat. The kid brought something that looks like a bomb Because bombs look like alarm clocks. He must of been taught to make bombs by Willy Coyote. Quote To add to the threat, he told them it was a clock, but didn't go into detail about this clock Because it was a just clock. Quote why he made it or what it was for.To tell the time. Why else would a kid make a clock? 708

Sexuality is weird around family or children. Besides Jim, who wants to be turned on around their mother, or the rest of the family? Or have their family aroused around them?

The Flood / TV Show Ideas« on: September 12, 2015, 03:38:07 PM »
So the idea for this show was like a spin off of Cops, except instead of being about police responding to crimes, it's your everyday libertarians. They drive around with cell phone cameras looking to provoke cops into pulling them over and then they verbally spank the cops with their superior knowledge of law and not consent to being arrested and tasered.

Serious / Re: Is morality objective?« on: September 12, 2015, 12:56:12 PM »What other options are there? Either morality is directly tied to god (which would be subjective) or morality exists outside of him (Objective).Morality cannot exist outside of God. The idea would be that God, being the omnipotent creator of everything in existence (essentially setting the rules for logic itself), would be the only true objective force in the universe. Morality would have to be objective because it would be based on factual, provable information decided by God. You just said above that God set the rules for logic. Were there other possible ways to set logic, or only the one chosen? Because if there were other ways then what made God choose this way over others? Was there pre existing logic to creating logic? Quote Thus, morality would be objective because God would define logic to make it such.If it is as God defines (in the beliefs of a single entity), then it is by definition subjective. You cannot know how God would define something, so it be his subjective position. Objective means independent of any biases. 717
