The fact that every single year thousands of your otherwise typical and average gun owner end up shooting and killing someone else seems like a sufficient reason to me.
Most gun crime is from gangs. Again thousands compared to 60 million is pretty small in comparison.

The majority of school shootings and such have been committed with firearms that are legally owned. I don't trust the average person to carry a gun.

Yea i guess you have a point, i can only guess that its getting good reviews because of payment, thats just me, i don't know if the actual game is good, IGN claims it ok, so this could mean that the other reviews were payed.
I haven't played it either just watched the IGN and GameRadar review. Haven't seen any reviews above 7 just people saying compared to colonial marines this is the best alien game. From the looks if it in the sequel they could fix a lot of the little problems and it could be really good game.

From what I seen it was because even when he was sitting still hidden it would find him, while it's faster than you and invincible to your weapons. I could see how random survival could be annoying.
Xenomporphs can sense people, through walls etc etc, how is this random when its quite obvious that it can find you anyways.
Well sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. It's a lot of trial and error spread out over a 20 hour campaign it can become frustrating to keep randomly dying.

I hate rendered CG Cutscenes in games. It breaks the immersion completely.
For old games I could see that but newer games the graphics are good enough that imo the immersion isn't broken and it enhances the cutscenes since it isn't limited to what the engine is capable of.

If you'd actually read the article a little more carefully, you'd learn that none of the organizations mentioned support or even approve of the practice of SWATing. This entire "news" article is based on nothing but a few morons making inappropriate comments on Facebook, and would be absolutely no different from a liberal website having an article entitled "NRA supports Muslim genocide" based on nothing but the handful of racist remarks that I quoted from the American Patriots Facebook page.
