Gaming / Re: How Halo 4 Could have been a whole lot better

It's either change or do the same thing every game and become stale and repetitive like Call Of Duty has. Albeit 343's changes weren't the best.

It doesn't have to change drastically every release.  It's a niche arena shooter changing it to a class shooter was retarded.

Welcome to 2004 netcode.

Also, this is why hitmarkers aren't a bad thing.

It's because 343 used vista instead of the xbox port.

inb4 the "Aren't guns banned in Australia" comment.
inb4 someone tries to explain how gun control totally works

In 2011,~16,000 of those were homocide.

In 2010, - ~16,200 of those were homocide.

Australian stats

US Stats

From your link, they were between 11-12,000.  In 2012 gun homicides were dropped to under 9,000.

Marvel needs to get ALL their film rights back.

Yeah, have you heard what they've done to the fantastic four?

Don't get me wrong, I love found footage movies, but this is a god damn nightmare for a marvel movie. I'm also not a racist, but having a black character that is a brother to a white character, I guess Johnny was adopted. It's just ruined from the get go.

The problems I was refering to were instead of Reed and Sue being scientists, they're edgy kids transported to another world to get their powers.  Doom isn't even Dr Doom's last name.  Doom is his troll name on social media.  Doctor Doom has been transformed from a respectable evil genius to antisocial programming internet troll!!!

Here's your classic cringefest.

Spoiler

I honestly don't know what these idiots think when they put shit like this up.

"Hey, this is going to be a really good way to present myself to the world!"

Meta prolly doesn't want you to go posting his private dating profile like this.

$2.33 here.  Feels good not spendin $20 for half a tank gas.
Damn thats cheap!
It'd be spectacular if it went below $2, but that's setting my expectations a little too high.

Abort the new born with your teeth so it doesn't have to live through that then enslave the daughters for your own desires.  Or wait to swoop in if one gets kicked out.

Toys 4 tots sets a horrible precedent for low income kids.  It sets them up for a life of entitlement and living off welfare like their parents.  Kids need Jobs 4 Tots.  Give them lil shits a hard taste of life experience.

"If you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to hide"

That would imply there is only good or bad.  There are certain things that are not good or bad, but people still feel the need to hide.  Being a closeted gay person for example.  Being gay isn't bad but when a video of you taking it up the ass shows up and people make fun of you, it can be degrading and shameful.  In private, people can truly be themselves without being in constant fear for going against the grain and being a nonconformist.  It's not anyone's business but one's own.  I can gurantee you enjoy some privacy.  Bet you lock the bathroom stall door when you poop in public.  Where do you live?  You shouldn't mind unless you got something to hide.
Thanks for illustrating my point.
You're welcome.  Now send me that address so we can have that blood orgy I promised.

What if Meta is having us post all our ideas we are to lazy to pursue and create so he can steal them and patent them to get rich?

It'll be specific to your college, but in general computer science is more theoretical and software engineering/development is more practical. If you have a knack for coding, you'll do very well in SE; if you want to learn about systems, then you'll enjoy CS.

Computer science is to software engineering as pure math is to physics.

So for someone with little knowledge in programming (I've only wrote a hello world program in 2 languages) it'd be best to go into computer science to get the best understanding of theory, while software development is more of a narrowed/specialized path?  After graduating and a few years of working in the field I'd like to work independently.  Which would you suggest?

1919
So I'm applying to a college online and initially all their site said they offered was a course on computer science.  When I got to the course selection part of the application I notice there is software development and software development via DE courses.  Does anyone know the difference between CS and SD or what the DE stands for?

I doubt it, but perhaps the closest ones to original tend to be the worst ones I dream up >_____>

Example
'Flashbang Abortions'

That reminds me of my Liberal Fetus Launcher thread.  Good times.
