Doesn't Slipspace travelling let people age slowly?

I recall Johnson being 80+ at the time of his death. And he was looking like a man in his best age compared to that old guy up there.

Johnson was technically in his 80's (as in time passed on the calendar), but his biological age was less.

But look at her 8 little beady eyes.
Those beady eyes are on you waiting to lay her nest of 40 children in your rectum as their host.  After they hatch they will control you to sell them on eBay to spread the parasite and use your money to fund their plans.

Honestly they say this, but all it takes is one person to find a serious glitch and share it and others build off that.  Unless this speed run excluded glitches.

The Flood / Re: Andrew Garfield Spider-Man
« on: April 11, 2015, 05:56:42 PM »
I hope Marvel does something different with Spidey in the MCU. Maybe have an older Peter Parker who's gave up being Spiderman for 20 years because of Gwen Stacys death and comes back to mentor Miles Morales after he gets bit by a similar spider so that he can become the new Spiderman? That could totes work!
Miles Morales Spiderman has no good villains or supporting characters.  Anyways, Marvel reveiled that he'll be in high school again (aged around 15-16).  If I remember right he's played by the Maze Runner lead.

Garfield is a good Spider-Man, and a terrible Peter Parker. Toby McGuire was a terrible Spider-Man, and good Peter Parker. They need a mix of the two.

This is the most succinct explanation of the issue. Parker's supposed to be awkward, not freaking skateboearding through the hallways.
The argument they used was Peter Parker is an outcast.  In the 50's, nerds were outcasts.  Today, Webb argued, skater/hipsters are the outcasts of today.   I think it's bullshit.

Serious / Re: Should you be able to use self defense against a Cop?
« on: April 10, 2015, 04:42:14 PM »
Problem is, if you are facing a cop who has/is: i) Misunderstood your action and knows from his mind you did a criminal act or ii) Is just a shitty cop, what stops them from then beating the shit out of you, shooting/tasing you and then charging you with assault of a police officer afterwards regardless of your original innocence?

Plus police have training to deal with this sorta thing. If I was being detained and about to face police brutality I'd take my chances running than fighting them.
this. you dont fight a cop unless you want to die.
Cop training really isn't that great, at least universally.  One of my relatives went to a firearm course taught by a vietnam special forces guy and he said there were a lot of cops who showed up because they felt there regular training wasn't enough.  A quick google search can show you thousands of videos of cops getting knocked out or killed by random people.  SWAT teams are another story.

I seem to bounce around a lot, and it's really fucked up my sleep the past 2-3 weeks.  I changed my sleep schedule and took a couple hours of rolling around to get to sleep then I developed a sorta sleep anxiety.  Every night I would wonder if I was going lay awake for hours again and trying to focus on sleep only made it wonder more.

I've never run into a "college communist " in any of the college campuses I've been to.

You sure this isn't more "colleges are liberal indoctrination camps" propaganda?

You've never been to any SoCal colleges or heard of them apparently. "College communists" down here are a dime a dozen. It seems like its the cool thing to be a communist moron when you're young, until you grow up and realize how stupid it is to be and support communism.

Also I don't see how any of it is propaganda, it's a well known fact how liberally biased colleges and universities are. To find any true neutral campuses or professors is nearly unheard of.
This is all assuming that Communism has anything to do with liberalism, which it doesn't. Communism in practice is pretty much Fascism, which is a far-rightist movement. The only difference between Communism and Fascism is economics, but they're identical in social policies.
Fascism is not a "far rightist" movement.
It's nationalist and reactionary, which both tend to be associated with the right-wing. It's also authoritarian which is more commonly associated with the right.
Those things aren't inextricably connected to right politics though.  Fascism stemmed from progressivism.

« on: April 06, 2015, 01:36:46 PM »
It did a little bit, he tried to hard to force humor and it took away from what the interview should have been.

I actually didn't know he gave all the documents to journalists, I was under the impression he himself was revealing the info in bits.  I thought it was odd that he just gave all that info to "journalists".  I'm not sure if he knew them well and gave it to them because he trusted them or he just passed around the documents like party fliers before running off.

From what I remember, he didn't have a whole lot of choice in where he sought asylum, Russia was the only place to offer.

I just watched it a couple hours ago and yeah, cutting him off to say he/americans don't care was annoying.  He complained about him being late but then only had a short interview, which as you already said, revolved too much on dick pic analogies.

I take it as a good thing he isnt like his dad. Ron Paul had some insane ideas. Like defunding epa along with half of the rest of govt agencies.

Rand has been a bit more sane, and has been leaning more moderate than any other conservative I'm seeing so far.
doesnt ron paul also want us to use the silver standard
The gold standard, yes.
