The point of it is to show that there being more atheists doesn't make a country worse off.  Our countries are better in nearly every objective metric than 50 years ago.

More blacks are on welfare than than 50 years ago,  and computers are better than they were 50 years ago. Obviously we need to oppress blacks through the welfare state more in order to get better computers.

Where the fuck did oppression come from out of this?  This is a shitty analogy for a few reasons.  One, we are talking about religion and it's effects on society.  You asked me to qualify my statement that since the percentage of atheists has gone up, the quality of life has gone up for people in first world countries. 

Second, oppression someone for their race does logically follow to better computers being made.  Life has improved even as more people end their faith in a belief.  It shows that that belief is not necessary for prosperity.  That was my point. 

Third, being atheist is not equivalent to being on welfare.

Still waiting on the numbers to support your claim, meanwhile historical evidences shows that the rise of Atheism leads to change in mood of the greater populace, which allows for socialist and communist states to rise and destroy their country.

Relied on religion to focus on the negatives?  What the fuck does that even mean?  Like I said, I was active in the church community growing up.  I said the lord's prayer every night, but I never prayed for personal gain, there just were times that I pleaded for mercy and for so much to stop going wrong around.  They were never prayers of vanity.  That being said, the Bible says nothing on what you can pray about.

So it's not like there is no precedent in the Bible about speaking to God for help.  It's actually endorsed.

This is most likely due to said atheist not having regular social contact outside certain instances. They were never exposed to the positives of religion, because they lock themselves in their room all day. Therefore, they tend to focus on the self indulgent part of their belief system,

When I think of the word racism, I think of the traditional meaning of racial prejudice.  That said, I will not argue if someone uses the other definition, because there is nothing inherently illogical to it like claiming to not believe and not not believe simultaneously.
