Wow not sure if Second Class is real but will assume so.

Still it must feel very different especially considering your hormones are still there. How would they effect you.

On topic of dick size where you measuring from. You can add an inch or two from location of your measurement and what you consider base.

Why be CEO? Why not just work at the rig's for six months and leave with a 100k salary. Party for the other six months. Maybe Chuck some here and there in some retirement fund, some into investments.

Okay roommate was watching kitchen nightmares. And well I started noticing something. Keep a track of every sound effect they use during the show.
I don't think the UK version does that

YouTube

Likely not, don't really watch Gordon Ramsay's shows much other than his travel shows or YouTube channel.

But the design of them seem so formulaic. It's like these things have already been calculated and understood. Might explain the quick shot in some modern YouTube's. To keep people hooked you need to keep action or drama occuring

Okay roommate was watching kitchen nightmares. And well I started noticing something. Keep a track of every sound effect they use during the show.

The quantity they use is unbelievable and the number of cymbals they use to make a point.

But also one thing I noticed is how these very sound affects are like orders on what you should think or feel at the moment. Like a live show when they tell the audience to clap, laugh or act shocked. It's like they use the sound affect to control your emotions and the more you watch the more you end up relying on them on telling you how you should feel for any scene.

Kind of is a thriller, though I will say there are many ways you can spoil this movie. Its hard to explain without spoiling because the whole movie needs to be watched with little knowledge of it.

Ive been meaning to watch it. I watched Ex Machina last night, thought that was pretty damn good.
ExMachina is really good and tenseness and the feelings of a somewhat horror film can be shown in both, although both are not horror.

It's just that they both are basically movies where you dive into the unknown and there are parts where you don't know what can happen, so in a sense it can be considered to prey on your fears. And the sound for the movie really adds to each emotion.

we need a stronger intelligence division

honestly we should already have undercover agents in ISIS, the Kremlin, China, etc

it's a failure of the government that we don't - instead of pouring all this funding into fighter jets, we need a way to know more about our enemies
ISIS is dead. The only discussion at the moment is how long until the last outpost falls. And who gets the territory.

Is it just me or was Obama's answer to everything "just give the kurds guns, bro"?
It kind of is. Why put troops on the ground. Also they need a strong ally that is not expansionist over there to keep breathing down both nations throat. Basically creating a counter balance for both Iraq and Syria.

Hitler was no different to a generic sandnigger dictator, he didn't achieve anything.
Hey the sandniggers did end up conquering half the world in a few decades. Also they forced Russia to accept Sharia law in their country.

Weirdly enough Hitler did say, if Germany was Muslim and not Christian, the world would have been conquered centuries ago. Also Muad Dib and Leto are based on Islamic leaders and expansionism.

Nice job regurgitating talking points of multiple generations. I can't wait to see the babies right now grow up and complain about the generation "insert name". Millennials are just a catch all term for young people.

ISIS is a big threat. Unfortunately, there's no way to get rid of them. If you get rid of ISIS. There's still others out there. Boko Haram, The Taliban. And more will come up. Unless most of the world gets past having a God in the near future we'll be dealing with this for a long time.
I would not say they are a threat, but I feel like like a disease it will be dealt with in time. Right now they are causing problems but as the world adapts around it and Muslims have conversations and discussing with each other about ideals. They could through all their evil do some good somewhow. Like how the Nazis brought human rights. The same way alot of the distinct groups who used to be at each other throats have started to unite.

Christian rights have become a PR move to get support but in a sense this ideal is being infused in the population. Supporting the minorities are starting to become rallying calls by the groups fighting ISIS. This might end up doing good hopefully.

At the end of the day, no one gives a shit of the long term as long as their bank account keeps growing. The voters always vote based on how fast they feel their wallets are. Not on the basis of the country.

Being loudmouthed does not make you some brave hero. Remind me of people who talk big and do little.

Obama may seem like a pussy, cause of his reserve look and composure, but he knew when he pulled the trigger something would happen.

Obama only problem was the Republicans attacking him at every second, even if Republicans supported a move. With your own people calling for your head, you can never have the breathing room to plan moves on the broader scale.

Still I love how Trump like to act as if he is going to do something when in reality his moves will likely mirror Obama as he has no extra moves to play that Obama has not played. He likes the image of being strong while everyone knows he is weak and gullible. Easy to manipulate. A great puppet for whoever has the chance to whisper in his ears.

I wonder though if he would carry on his Iran bashing and ignore the Saudis. That would show how much of a tool he is to the Republican party.

It seems like an appeal, but not much meat in it. I wonder if there are papers out there to decide how best to capitalize on combating climate change. Also how best to assess the risk and loss of assets to existing industries with the rise of climate change. Could there also be an unaccounted factor that could affect current industries cost, thus increasing their cost to operate if such an operation existing.

I wonder if companies were mandated to help in giving full health insurance to people take it seriously as climate change will inevitably increase the cost of healthcare eating into the companies bottom lines due to the rise in health issues.

Still I think there needs to be a study to connect rise in global warming to increase in costs and tie the costs to people both citizen and corporations, thus forcing both to change habits and adapt to combat this issue in one go.

Serious / Fed lifts ratea
« on: December 14, 2016, 04:23:58 PM »
"Fed lifts rates, sees faster pace of hikes in Trump's first year" - http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN1430G4

The U.S. Federal Reserve raised interest rates on Wednesday and signaled a faster pace of increases in 2017 as central bankers adapted to the incoming Trump administration's promises of tax cuts, spending and deregulation.

The increase in the federal funds rate to a range of between 0.50 percent and 0.75 percent was widely expected. But the prospect of a brisker monetary tightening contributed to a selloff in shorter-dated U.S. Treasuries and stocks.

In a news conference following the unanimous rate decision, Fed Chair Janet Yellen said Donald Trump's election had put the central bank under a "cloud of uncertainty" and already prompted some policymakers to shift their view of what's to come.

"All the (Federal Open Market Committee) participants recognize that there is considerable uncertainty about how economic policies may change and what effect they may have on the economy," Yellen said.

Though Trump's inauguration is still a month away, she said "some of the participants" had begun shifting their assumptions about fiscal policy. At least five of 17 Fed policymakers appeared to have boosted their interest rate outlook since September, according to the new "dot plot" of rate projections.

The Fed chief was peppered with questions about the president-elect, refusing to comment on his penchant for tweeting about companies or to give advice on how any fiscal, tax or trade plan should be structured.

"I am not going to offer the incoming president advice about how to conduct himself," Yellen said.

Trump, critical of Yellen during the campaign and considered likely to replace her when her term ends in early 2018, had not by late afternoon issued any comment about the Fed's rate decision, in line with his predecessors' practice.

Yields on shorter-dated Treasuries hit their highest levels in more than five years and U.S. stocks fell in choppy action. The dollar rose against a basket of currencies. Gold hit its lowest level in more than 10 months and oil prices also declined.

Partly as a result of the changes anticipated under Trump, the Fed sees three rate hikes in 2017 instead of the two foreseen as of September.

Yellen called that a "very modest adjustment" driven also by strong job gains and evidence of faster inflation. Wednesday's rate increase should be "understood as a reflection of the confidence we have in the progress the economy has made," she said.

TRUMP IMPACT

Fresh economic forecasts, the first since Trump won the Nov. 8 election on promises of tax cuts and increased infrastructure spending, showed policymakers shifting their outlook to one of slightly faster growth, lower unemployment and inflation just under the Fed's 2 percent target.

The projected three rate increases next year would be followed by another three increases in both 2018 and 2019 before the rate levels off at a long-run "normal" 3.0 percent. That is slightly higher than three months ago, a sign the Fed feels the economy is still gaining traction.

Markets and the Fed appeared to be close on their rate outlooks, with Fed futures markets pricing in at least two and possibly three hikes in 2017.

The Fed's policy statement "didn't mention the fiscal stimulus but typically their aggressiveness does indicate that there's a little more confidence that they can get away with three hikes next year," said Aaron Kohli, interest rate strategist at BMO Capital Markets.

The central bank continued to describe that pace as "gradual," keeping policy still slightly loose and supporting some further improvement in the job market. It sees unemployment falling to 4.5 percent next year and remaining at that level, which is considered to be close to full employment. The economy is projected to grow 2.1 percent in 2017, up from a previous forecast of 2.0 percent.

U.S. bond yields had already begun moving higher following Trump's victory and as expectations of the Fed rate increase solidified. All 120 economists in a recent Reuters poll had expected a rate hike on Wednesday.

In the weeks following the election, Fed policymakers have said Trump's proposals could push the economy into a higher gear in the short run. Even though the details of the Republican businessman's plans remain uncertain, Wednesday marked a rare case in which the Fed moved its interest rate outlook higher in the era after the 2007-2009 financial crisis.

Risks to the outlook remain "roughly balanced" between factors that could slow or accelerate the economy beyond what the central bank anticipates, the Fed said, no change from its assessment last month.

The rate increase was the first since last December and only the second since the crisis, when the Fed cut rates to near zero and deployed other tools such as massive bond purchases to stabilize the economy.

So any of you guys have mortgages?

I plan on seeing the housing bubble shrink with the rise in interest rate. Here in Canada there is definitely going to be a sharp decrease in mortgages being sold as the BOC will likely have to raise interest rates to stave of the devaluation of our dollar. If oils does pick up, it might not cause as much of an issue in our economy. But will be a great break from the constant increase in housing prices.

Demand will likely shrink as people will stop taking advantage of the low interest rates, leading to a drop in housing prices. Fingers crossed though, likely not going to happen in Toronto or Vancouver.

Scenario:

Your mom was not your mom but your stranger or your dad was not your dad but a stranger. Could you see them being attractive or good looking?

This is a question I have come across, trying to figure out what brought my parents together,  and whether they were attracted to each other's physical looks.

I don't celebrate Christmas unfortunately. It's a good time in the year but the family usually goes around sees the lights but don't really participate in the gift wrapping. We might care about lights as my dad gets older but honestly we are kind of look at Christmas as a break and a time to relax.

We do go and have dinners of have fun if other people call us out but personally not too involved.

As far as I am concerned try to keep it clear, but not too clear. You will know when you are over hydrated when you pass too much. I usually drink to make sure my piss is clear knowing I eat a lot  of salt and usually have less clear piss. I don't know why but I feel the high volume will help me avoid kidney stones. As long as my pass is clear.

I cannot for some reason remember a military journal I was reading a year ago and a intelligence journal that I was reading which had some really nice articles on changes in geopolitics.

Good source for military news. Very technical and lengthy, though.
Can you pm me it. Right now finals week so might lose the link.

Trumps deal was nothing of importance. Although it delayed the jobs leaving well some of them it really ended up becoming a saving for Carrier. Carrier won a pr move by saying they are keeping jobs in America although in reality they just outsourced half the jobs whole at the save time cut costs by outsourcing their Labour to Mexico. Expect this to occur more often, as Labour cost becomes one of the most expensive parts of any corporate spreadsheet. It's the main thing that will have to be pushed down.

Also anyone saying Obama did nothing for the last eight years, can basically thank the Congress for blockade g every move he did. Yes the ACA was not a great deal and should have been perfected, but the Congress has been the most abysmal body to exist. No offense the Republicans have kind of helped in ruining America under Obama by undermining his authority and digging deeper into this partisan bulls hit. Mind you the Democrats have done it as well but the Republicans are more guilty of this crime. Blockading bills that Obama was trying to pass to keep jobs and pushing bills to undermine the Democrats although they were horrible. Just look at the 9/11 Bill they passed. Obama vetoed it once the Republicans ignored it and forced it through ignoring why Obama said it was a bad bill and then when passed complained about Obama not telling them and clarifying for them the bill was bad.

Also to be honest state governments have also been shit in America. Weirdly enough the best states are those that although are conservative have liberal tax policies as well. Many states are going to shit unless you are part of the states that are the economic powershouses like California, the states that comprise the NE United States, Texas. Weirdly enough the locations that make the most money are also Weirdly enough more liberal than the Republican party although they should be considered centrist. Why is there no progressive conservative parties in America? And don't get me started on the districts, that should be run by an independent federal body like the IRS.

But what do I know, I am from Canada, the country that was able to decrease its debt by doing something the Americans have never considered. Cutting spending and raising taxes at the same time.

Another thing to note, you have to accept listening to stories that make you uncomfortable or you disagree with. Sometimes they are telling the truth no matter how much you disagree with it. Just to some more studies on the topic later if you want and widen your scope of the story.
