The Flood / Re: Adsense is Nonsense

How much does it cost to maintain this site, and how much are your living expenses. Honestly i am willing to donate some cash to support this site. Which may sound stupid, but frack it, i like it and well i want it to survive.
That's nice pretty cool of you to do that. If the costs became too expensive then I guess we could all donate a little to keep this place running. However last I heard, the ad revenue was sufficient to cover the costs.
Yeah it usually is, just wondering though, hopefully if the site will grow and maybe groups shall be added. Though this will require Cheat to work full time if it becomes a serious website with major traffic. Then add revenue although helpfull we will need revenue to pay him for his work.

It's the distinction where people associate Muslims with Islam. Kinda like the term African-American where it's a implication that all people from Africa are black but it's not the case since South Africa is a large white African nation
Seeing how Muslims are followers of Islam, your post makes no sense.
Well religion usually divides people on ethnic lines. Imagine this, you say muslim who do you think, the brown people. The religion has been tied to a race in the foreign world.
There are many races of people that are Muslim. I don't really think of a specific type of person because I just don't think like that.
You might not but quite a number of people do. But the freedom to practice your religion and being discriminated based on your religion is wrong. I mean is Judaism a race or a religion. Remember people convert to Judaism, so ethically they are not. But if you criticize them you are labeled an anti-semite. Mainly calling you out as a racist. So the problem is are you a muslim or not if you practice a religion or not.
Salman Rushdie calls himself a muslim although he does not practice Islam. Saying his father was a muslim and so he is too. This is mainly a case where culture and religion blend so close together and people present a religion to be their background culture.

What it seems to boil down to is they don't want to land themselves in hot water with legal troubles, easier to give a small refund than deal with someone flipping their shit and trying to sue.

Could you even sue for this?
Ask Foman but there are people who get sued for the most stupidest of shits. Good lawyer and you have a successful litigation.

The litigation culture caused most of these tiptoeing problems. No one wants the liability or they are paying some high litigation fees.

The Flood / So How does one make friends so easily
« on: October 02, 2014, 09:24:09 AM »
Okay, i have a number of friends and never had a problem, but what blows my mind is how my father can easily start up a conversation with anyone anywhere and end up becoming an acquaintance or friend of theirs within a day. Literally he know nearly everyone at the bus stop. Hell when he is not there everyone stands silently, and then my father comes and boom he is talking to everyone.

Where the frack do you have the skills to just become instant friends with everyone you meet?

What I find really annoying is the frequency of some people to try to label critics of islam as racists.
Religion as a measure of accuracy is equally wrong among all supernatural claims and beliefs. When you pick out 'Islam' as far worse than other religions, what you're really criticizing is culture, and to which end you don't need to be Islamic to support and practice. Likewise, you can be Islamic and be fairly liberal/libertarian as well. The culture is simply conservative, not necessarily Islamic.

Or at least that's a distinction I would make.
The culture of islamic communities is almost wholly based around the rules and social guidelines set forth by the religion.

You cannot separate Islam from Islamic culture because the religion sets forth guidelines for a culture.

uuuurrgggh.
Islamic culture or i would say the middle eastern culture which is right now being heavily influenced by Wahabi culture is the poster boy for Islam. Funny thing is most of Islams followers are not in the middle east. Indonesia and Malaysia have the biggest muslim population and have a totally different practices. Some rules are questionable dependent on sect and cultural background. Genital mutilation of femals is solely practiced in set number of muslim communities while most muslim do not have this custom. It depends what muslim is, but muslim is a culture that defines a set group of people usually of middle easter descent, or Indo descent.

Honestly i had nearly the same problem, and well i got bored, and so decided if things are not interesting why not make things interesting yourself.

Just talk to a random girl or guy and see how things go. With friends do something stupid. Try something out. Honestly if life is boring for me i need to make it interesting. Just make sure you do not cause and serious issues with other people.

I judge people too quickly and quite harshly at times, so I don't know how that would play out.
Do not judge them, pretend it is improv and just talk about something, let them be stupid and play along with their stupidity. They say something stupid well you just make a comment or try to make them dig a bigger hole for themselves. Just pull them out before hand.

Honestly do not judge, people are idiots, well most are, so just talk to someone, ask stupid questions, usually the general questions then try to bring up a topic that you think you or anyone can comment alot about and let them go all out. Control yourself and then you start going into it. Later just ask them for coffee or maybe a game of soccer or something.

Yeeeeah about that.... I'm not fond of stupidity at all. I only cringe when I'm forced to witness it. That or I just shake my head in disappointment followed by a quiet double facepalm.
Let stupidity surprise you. It is i believe the unique thing about us humans. We could be rational beings and make the most obvious safe choices but we do not. And that is what makes us unique. We are all idiots, me you everyone.

Honestly talk with a couple of these guys or girls popular or not, just talk to them, not in a romantic way but just ask them questions about what they have on them, try to write notes down about people, and find out what is important to them and why they do not know certain things. I cringe at stupidity and all i do is mianly just force a smile and look down. Move the topic away from the stupid point. They are not worth a fight over.

Just look down and then move the topic away. Honestly ask yourself if you are stupid or not, talk about stupid things. Go out with friends and have a bunch of activities. Not only on the computer. Go on a hike or swimming one day. Work out. etc. Not sure how to help you. But honestly people will not change and you will not make friends by being in your comfort zone. Get out and see how the world is.

He may have been a hero if he talked about it after graduation. Right now i bet he will be kicking himself for fracking blabbing.

If you are in this situation keep your fracking trash shut.

Very true.

But I know thats gotta be hard to keep to yourself.
It is hard, but if you want more of what you got then keep your trash shut. Right now i bet every kid will be looking at him like frack you. Got rid of the hottest teacher in the school and now we are stuck with Miss, Wrinkly Fatrolls. Who also is a big punt.

Honestly I know i would have stayed quiet if i was in the same situation. It is my thing, why should i share it with others.

Looks like i will need lessons on how to read chord charts. Strumming one note at a time will be okay but figuring out how to piece them together will be a whole different beast.

although learning how to piece things on chord charts is important, why don't you just watch a youtube video and learn it?

Well i can but thought of trying to learn it with the charts. Cannot carry the guitar with me everywhere. Plus got to get me that capo.

Do you mind elaborating on just how new to the instrument you are?
Lets just say i am a total beginner. Reading these charts have been an issue. Though have been using rocksmith to try to see if i can learn. Kind of fun to try to learn songs on it, but when it comes down to harder songs and reading them off UG if the tab is readable i can do it. Chord is not something i spent much time in.

Thanks, will try using the chords. Never really understood it but i remember using tabs while having a couple lessons, and kind of got the hang off it, with songs like seven nation army, were going to be friends etc.
It all depends on the voicing of the guitar part. A song like Seven Nation Army is really easy to learn and you don't really need to know anything but powerchords. The melody is a single-note line on the same string. It's tough to go from that to an acoustic song because what you learned playing a single note at a time doesn't transfer to playing chords or arpeggios.
That is my main problem. Need to figure out how to play the chords and and the spacing between them. Problem for me is the song itself feel more like it is being finger picked which is why i went for the tab instead of the chords. With the chords not exactly sure what to do.

okay i have no idea what i am doing.
First thing i have no idea how to read chord tabs and how to space them and play them. Example:
Follow you into the Dark Chord

Also the tabs not sure if they are right.
Same thing But what is the spacing how long is each note.
Is this a better tab

Or is this the better one

So can anyone explain to me how to discern different type of marijuana plants. What do the various strains have and how to enjoy them?
Well the more purple the better. Like most of what I smoke is pretty low grade shit.
Wait why purple, i thought it was always green. Unless when you harvest them it is purple. Also how do you make brownies from them. Do not want to smoke it as i am quite sensitive to my lungs. If i could use a vaporizer i would be okay.
The purple thing is actually a joke. There's this thing on the internet about purple being a sign of good quality when it's not. It means that weed was harvested too late. You passed that test.

Bongs are good for making smoke safer. Baked goods are pretty nice too especially if you can get your hands on some of the sacred Nugtella.
Nutella would be good, now all i need to do is go to my friends place in the hostel make some brownies with him and then maybe go on a skii trip and have some. Do not want my family catching me. Patience is the key.
