I used to work there. Get out before you regret staying. A friend over there hates it and has been working 4 years there. Me 1 year and i quit.
My friend became a department manager after about a year I believe. He quit because all the managers were basically conspiring to get him fired somehow.

He was the only good worked at that entire store, which is why he got promoted so fast.
In our place, all the people who worked hard left. Honestly, after i left the store went to shit work ethic wise. Most of the guys jumped ship and some of the best guys in the store. Old management left new came and apparently from my friend. Moral is low.

The Flood / Re: Bass Guitar
« on: October 24, 2014, 03:03:25 PM »
Truth is i was wondering how does one choose the bass guitar that they want to play.
Go to a large music store (you don't have to buy there) that has lots of inventory and try out a bunch of different body styles, neck profiles, and of course, electronics.  Don't "just buy a Fender P" unless they feel perfect to you.
Around that budget, Ibenez has some good models. ESP's LTD B series is really awesome too. I got a 206SM for a backup to my fancy Schecter, and it's nearly as good tone wise for half the price. Speaking of Schecter, I'd personally avoid any of their lower models, but the Studio and Custom series are pretty awesome. I've never felt a slim neck that's as easy to play as the one on my Stiletto... definably out of your budget though...
But yeah, just try a bunch of different basses and see what you like, and what suits the music you play.
Yeah, i was thinking this is what i would have to do. Now to find the closest bass guitar store that is good.

I prefer finger but use pick when playing rocksmith.

Okay range is up to $500. That is for now, by next year after i graduate, it could increase for a new bass. Truth is i was wondering how does one choose the bass guitar that they want to play. For me it is going to be an emotional investment as well.

So have been playing around with my guitar. I used to really want to play the bass but everyone i know kept telling me that the guitar is a better choice. And well i went with it. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love it, but i have been thinking of getting a base guitar to try out with, and was wondering if any of you knew anything about base guitars to help me figure out what to look for when buying a base guitar.

Thanks.

Clips that he admires?
Yes and no.
He did make a video about Micheal Bay once, and he definitely is not a fan of Micheal Bay. But did so anyway to try to show the approach Micheal Bay takes.
So these are videos edited by him?
Yep. He takes a director and focuses on one aspect of the directors technique. Showing how he does so in every movie he makes.
Ehhh. I'm not sure if I have the patience, but I appreciate what your friend has done. I prefer my own critique.
Not my friend. But give it a shot.

So not sure if I have shared this before but, decided on creating a thread for a youtube channel i have fallen in love with.

Every Frame a Painting, is a youtube channel created by Tony. A movie lover and a student of movie. His videos are some of the best objective analysis of movies. From his look at Micheal Bay, to David Fincher directing style, and Spielberg's one shots. He has gone through a vast catalog of movies from even lesser known directors such as Satoshi Kun, who have been great inspiration for many other directors, and has made some of the best videos on the art of movie making.

Anyway though of sharing this and also another video of his i fell in love with.

That reminds me.

My girlfriend is cute and smart and she's an anime maggot like me
The other night she and I were cuddling in bed and she started humping me and whispering "oniichan oniichan" and that turned me the frack on
so I called her "oneechan" and then she stopped and looked at me and I said "what is it" to which she replied "I always wanted a twin brother so we could frack all the time" (she's an only child and all I have is a younger brother)
so all night long we were humping and calling each other oniichan and oneechan and I came in my underwear and we were pretending we were brother and sister trying to sexually please each other without having sex and it was fracking hot
That can be both disturbing and cute, depending on who you are. For me it is cute. I want to hug you both right now.

>Elfen Lied

You disgust me saying people should watch that travesty.
Really, i read the manga and it was very well written. Dark and sad, and i hated the ending, though it was a great ending. Hated it though as it brought tears to my eyes.
Don't know about the manga, but the anime was horrible from the voice acting to the romance.
One tip. Whenever you know an anime is an adaption of a manga. Read the manga instead. Because the anime usually cuts alot of stuff out.

Also read this Chinese Manga.
Feng Shen  Ji
It is even more awesome than any action story out there.

So was wondering if any of you guys had any stories you feel like you should share, that others should definitely read or watch. From movies, to anime, books, manga etc. If you have any recommendation, share them.

Personally thought of recommending a good psychological manga,
Aku No Hana
It starts out perverted but becomes immensely dark afterwards, not in a sexual way, but in the kids thinking dark thoughts.
