You know how fines and bails are usually flat, but what if they were based on your income. Introduced in countries in Europe like Germany and Finland, the Unit-Fine or Day-Fine is based on your income. The basis is that if both high-income and low-income are punished accordingly and equally for jail time then the same should be applied to fines.
Kind of like the income tax.
So is it a good idea or not? And is it applied in your jurisdiction?

May have to watch out about this when i have a puppy.
DONT GO TO DOG PARKS
I can't stress this enough. It's full of dumbasses that have no idea how to train their dogs properly so your puppy can easily be attacked and scarred for life.
What breed? Or are you just rescuing?
Likely just rescuing. But it is some time since i will finally decide.

So you know how there are many popular myths that people believe in. Things like the left brain is analytical and the right is creative. Or how you use 10% of your brain.
So a good question for self reflection is what myth did you believe for the longest and did it have any impact on how you viewed yourself or others? Even if negligible at best.

Earth still has a stronger field of gravity.
So does my penor.
I'm so sorry about its density.
Do you ejaculate a singularity?
Well never have. Had to keep it in, due to fear of causing any cataclysmic event. With great power comes great responsibility.

Reported to the FBI for conspiracy to commit theft of intellectual property. Enjoy your deportation to Istanbul.
Umm... I am in Canada and downloading is legal last i heard. Uploading is illegal as far as i know.
I'm also in Canada and I'm pretty sure that's not true. Pirating stuff is still illegal here. If anything it's more illegal now.
If you're looking for a free eniting program why don't you get gimp?
Yeah figured that out. Already told my friend to try out GIMP. Otherwise gave him some links to try out.

All I'm really aware of about politics is that political parties don't seem to work well, the government seems corrupt as hell, most politicians just seem to want money or power, and we have 2 real sides that shut anyone else out and don't get any progress done.
Syrians were upset that their leader was a dictator and rebellion broke out and they've been dividing into factions of questionable motives and fighting since. Ukraine also rioted and they did overcome their government, the tanks never showed up, but the country divided and Russia was sending troops in support of pro-Russians. That's all I got.
That should be enough for you to talk a lot about what I'm missing, right?
Not American politics. Global politics. Like, international relations, conflicts, why various governments do what they do. American politics are fucking boring as hell.
And there was a lot more to the Syrian conflict than just that. Many other domestic factors played a larger role than "muh ebul dicktatur" in inciting the conflict. There were influences from other conflicts. And that conflict in turn influenced those conflicts again, and now it's a giant Middle Eastern proxy war pitting Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Israel against Iran and Russia.
Ah, well I understand next to nothing about that recently other than Russia got sanctioned, think their economy dived, and they were trying to show off power or something.
I assumed there was more, but I really am not aware and most new sources tend to seem like shit in some way. Wait, what? Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are in some cold war with Iran and Russia?
Though the sides aren't that clear-cut, the massive new cold war beef is between Saudi Arabia and Iran. But that brief and massive decrease in oil price was a direct result of that Cold War.
See, that particular conflict isn't so far away and irrelevant now that it affected just about everyone in the US.
But the schools told us it was our savior Obama and the freedom of capitalism that made the prices drop.
Yeah, I really don't see how Saudi Arabia would be teaming up with Israel, even if they both hate Iran. How's Russia coming into this?
This isn't the 70's anymore. Saudi Arabia and Israel actually have passable relations with eachother now. They aren't friends, but they're pretty cool with eachother. Israel and Saudi Arabia both support different rebel factions, since it is in neither of their interests to see Assad anywhere other than 6 feet below the ground or a prison.
Russia comes into play since they have had great relations with the Assad regime since the 70's back when Hafiz was in power, and they are trying to preserve whatever soft power and influence they have left in the world, so they make natural allies with Iran (who is protecting Assad to the point where they have active troops deployed in Syria). Russia also has had very close trade relations with Syria saying that they've been the primary supplier of their weapons for 50 years, and they want to keep things that way.
Politics aren't so boring now, are they?
Yeah, learning that there actually have been things happening in the world since the Berlin Wall fell besides the wars in Iraq is something you do not learn in American schools.
Got any good news sites you use? I despise the majority of the media so I don't tend to learn much aside from secondhand info from conversations.
For more general news, I use Britbong sources (mainly BBC, Dailymail, and Independent)
For Middle East-related news, I go on /r/syriancivilwar (possibly the most intelligent reddit in existence), Al-Monitor (Arab-American), and Dailystar (Lebanese)
And if you're in the mood for some comedy, go onto PressTV (Iran) or Sputnik News (Russia).
Add Vice onto that list though their translations have been shit and maybe trying to figure out the mess in r/Ukrainian Conflict. That sub is a mess, but sometimes you can figure something out from some of the different sources being put up.
Good point. How the fuck does VICE even get into half the places they do. I mean, they were reporting on the frontline from the fucking Islamic State side!! And they can waltz into Kurdish cantons, Rebel, and Government lines like it's nothing.
r/UkrainianConflict is a clusterfuck, but you can find your occasional gold through the mess. Shockingly, r/UkrainianConflict is still better than most of Reddit!!!
Do you post on r/syriancivilwar or r/UkrainianConflict?
Usually browse and if i have an inquiry i usually ask a question and have someone answer it.

Just so you know the SAA has taken ground against ISIS, basically as Daesh is retreating the YPG and SAA have been running to different cities to lay claim to them. And mainly crushing small Daesh resistance. ISIS is more or less dead now.
In Iraq they will fall, in Syria well they will be destroyed by both rebels and SAA. Why? Well Deir-e-Azor is the greatest example of the SAA holding of and beating the Daesh forces, while in the east in places like Aleppo, the rebel factions have grown stronger and more let me say effective. Nusra has been leading charges and making progress though in some places it has been the other way around. While IF has become quite strong and has not really shown it's true strength. Ahrar Al Sham i believe is one of the groups that has one of the most effective groups.
As far as i know Daesh is dead especially with the hit squads hunting their leadership and the dismantling of their whole doctrine. The real fight i see right now is between the IF and it's allies and SAA and it's allies. YPG and the Kurds for now are not facing the heat but if things cool down and SAA finishes the encirclement of Aleppo which has had many setbacks recently, they could face some heat.
Eh, if this were last month, I'd say that the siege of Aleppo would have been inevitable, but now it's really not looking so hot for them. Unless the Iranians intervene (again), deSyracuse's prediction of Aleppo being under siege by June is going to be smashed back into Sheikh Najjar.
Though I do agree that IS is going nowhere. Their organization is starting to tear itself to shreds whether it's from internal divisions, or massive amounts of infiltrators. I don't think they've really gained ground anywhere since November.
Ahrar al-Sham does have some rumors circulating around it that they're next in the USA's sights after IS and JaN, so there's some bad news. Do you know if any of the rumors of JaN leaving al-Qaeda have any amount of truth as well? I've seen nothing but extremely conflicting reports.
Well first point is yeah, the Aleppo encirclement was a failure, but there is still expectations something may happen in the future. I feel like if the East and Deir-e-Azor open up and the pressure is released from there the Golden Brigade may be shifted to Aleppo. There has been a move if i remember correctly of troops to the Aleppo area as well as a surge of Hezbollah soldiers. For me the biggest question is has there been an increase or surge of troops in and around Aleppo and if so is there a new offensive on the horizon. Also could the Rebels make the same mistake and push too far too fast thus not reinforcing their positions and getting caught off guard if a new offensive begins. Another issue is that the recent failure can also be attributed to the absence of air support, so could the next time around, when the counter-counter-offensive begins could the air power change the game and solidify results. Right now fighting for Baskouy village: Latest Map: LinkLast i heard was that all reports of Nusra leaving Al-Qaeda has been false. That is the official statement so far. Anyway 12 at night here will talk tomorrow.
