even my own sister, as much as we don't get along, i thought we had this unspoken pact with each other—we're never gonna get mixed up with drugs of any kind
a couple weeks ago, i found out she's been smoking tobacco away from her mother
it's like i'm the only person in the universe with any conviction or self-control
No sir. Unless you count pain medication directly after getting my wisdom teeth out then I like to think I'm with you in this boat. Actually, I was meaning to ask you this anyway, do you drink coffee?

The Deci/Foman thing needs to be it's own reality TV show
The opening music fades to see a 20 something Armenian man wearing a straight jacket in a psych. ward... [Laugh Track]

i don't even like banana-flavored CANDY
if candy can't make it taste good, you know it's fucked
jacob i know your dumb ass better than i know a lot of my irl acquaintances and i have a vivid recollection of you explaining how you dont like any food food that has too strong and intrusive a taste, as you have a very sensitive palette or some DUMB shit like that
bananas are LITERALLY the definition of mild on unobtrusive taste-wise, their texture when eaten are the right time is smooth and buttery, what is their to dislike. what turns you off from them. explain that to me, ishpeming.
the flavor
it's one of those things you can't describe because nothing else tastes like a banana, you either like that or you don't
i can understand something like...olives or some shit being something that people either like or they don't. but bananas? i just cant fathom it man. bananas are basically the bread of fruit, besides breadfruit itself
I gag at the smell of bananas.

Oh look, there is
Sooo... yeah. It might mean you have Borderline Personality Disorder
"May suggest" and "intense current attachments" isn't exactly what's being talked about though. More likely those studies are talking about people who view their stuffed animal as a companion of sorts, the relationship specifically formed while growing up and never became something less. I doubt it's referring to someone who simply has a stuffed animal. Even so, it's only correlation at best.

Wouldn't this have the makings for a static character? Like, if he remained alone and didn't form an actual relationship and finally get over his solitude he wouldn't learn anything? not necessarily
again, that assumes that a character can't be complete without a romantic partner, which is just silly
Well no, they can. But why is Samurai Jack limited from doing this? Out of curiosity, what would you have preferred Season 5 try to accomplish?

Jack shouldnt be alone, the entire fucking show is about duality you retard
holy shit how can you skew the intent of a show to fit your needs so much
that's why he was pretty much alone for the first four seasons right
No? The point of the first four seasons was he was forcing himself into solitude even though he had friends and allies that he had helped EVERYWHERE. so what you're saying is, he was alone
He thought he was, but he wasn't
he was physically alone, just how he always should've been
Wouldn't this have the makings for a static character? Like, if he remained alone and didn't form an actual relationship and finally get over his solitude he wouldn't learn anything? I hated that they dedicated an entire episode to it, but I wouldn't have had an issue if it was more subtle. Their relationship on the whole makes sense... Just not the way they executed it.

How was the villain on a scale of bad-forgettable.
One of the best villains in the MCU so far imo.
Spoiler Kurt Russelhoff was definitely the best villain. I'd say the most forgettable to me was either Malekith or the first 2 Iron Man villains.
Spoiler For sure. I loved the whole concept of prefacing Quill's father so much and the payoff being so satisfying (playing catch, being taught about the universal stuff). But there was also something off about him, even in the first scene something was a little weird. Just beautifully done.

It was very good. Really enjoyable movie. I thought the plot was more interesting and the characters got more development than the first. Pretty much the only thing that drags it down for me is some of the humor and the large majority of the failed jokes revolve around Baby Groot. Other than that I'd give it a solid 8.5 - 9 / 10
