Personally I'll say
1. Simon Belmont - the leak so far bodes well in terms of being correct so I'll run with it.
2. K. Rool - Fan popularity, he's likely.
3. Decidueye - However this could also either be Mimikyu or Sceptile
4. BotW Champion or Skull Kid - if they go the BotW Champion route then I'd imagine they go with Revali which takes Decidueye out of consideration. Skull Kid is a fan favorite.
5. Rex - Xenoblade 2 is bound to get representation, it's just gonna happen imo.
6. Metal Gear Echo Fighter - Same reasons stated about this prior.

So, that one leaker (who has been pretty accurate lately) has just leaked that there's gonna be 6 more new characters. I wouldn't get too excited about that, but this dude has a pretty strong track record.
If he's right, any predictions? One of the fun things about having a completed 68 character roster is that it really narrows things down.
I predict:
1. Simon Belmont, who has been my biggest request since Brawl
2. Decidueye, who seems all but inevitable to me
3. Spring Man and/or Ribbon Girl for some Arms representation
4. A Metal Gear echo fighter, pretty much because of what Cat just said
5. King K. Rool who is a piece of shit character who I don't want, but it seems likely-ish
6. Geno—again, don't want him, but he's been requested for years, so it's about time
These aren't characters I necessarily want, but they're the ones I'm expecting the most.

I unironically think he would be a great fit and if he was put in I would giggle like a madman.
He's from an iconic series that shaped the fps genre, and video games as a whole. Plus Bethesda has been putting a lot of stuff on the switch recently.

Waluigi for now, because I love Waluigi, and his playstyle happens to be perfect for me.
Apparently Blooper is gonna be a playable character, though, which I'm pretty hype for as well.
Roster is supposed to be like 14 or 15 I think, interested to see who gets the call. Waluigi players ruin my day along with Chain Chomp.
