Unless you're planning on implementing orbital bombardment I suggest you focus on the Weltkrieg, son.

I know...it's in Hungary, which is already in the west to begin with.
But then it would travel East.

At a landing strip in North Bay, Ontario, Canada a lonely German Arrow lifts off into the morning sky and delivers the first 3 humans in space. The flight only lasts for a matter of minutes in actual space but the Arrow has successfully attained space capabilities back in Canada.

The troops arrive and join the first European line. They counterattack and push forward toward Italy and Germany.
German Fortifications since the last war are holding up well against the counter attack this time. Especially with the help from Fighters and bombers. German armies double back and protect the Borders. with Tanks set up as ambush along the path.
