The only problem is that they made him a shit Jedi in both his lighsaber and force skills. You have motherfuckers throwing Star Destroyers out of the air and the best thing this "Legend of a Jedi" can so is spin a fucking giant frisbee and throw it at Palpatine? And those were the same fucking things Palatine was just causally lobbing it him like spitballs. Poor Show
In Empire we see Yoda lifting a X-Wing which would be hard but to make it even harder it's in a swamp which would create a vacuum around it. Then for Palpatine in Dark Empire the guy created storms with the force that are large enough to destroy entire fleets. Cannon or not for when Dark Empire came out we seen the force doing godly things in the movies, games and books so you would think a battle between two force masters would be epic. So far for the movies there are no Jedi battles that just uses the force to duel. The sabers are still the main thing and the force is just something thrown in on the side to distract the person so you can cut them down.
An all force battle would be incredible. Can you imagine a duel where no lightsabers are involved and those godly abilities are used on screen? Oh god that would be awesome.

Well, you see they went go see him about the whole thing and arrest him to do that, but he kinda killed them all.

i mean the jedi are actually a resource used by the senate for official business, if they sense really strong sith presence in the senate it would be reasonable to have blood tests taken
The Jedi have no ground in the senate to bring that up during a meeting. Besides, it was urgent enough of an accusation that it needed to be investigated immediately. Hence, why they went into his office to arrest him, as the chosen one accusing Palps of being a sith lord after spending so much time together is pretty damn serious. He was going to be brought before the Senate, likely with the blood test they would've done had he been arrested and not killed everyone.

Well, they would be cocky then because they assumed their combined experience and combat prowess would be enough. The Jedi hadn't dealt with a Sith Lord in 2000 some years, clearly they weren't really aware of what they were getting into.

The only thing that never made sense to me was that Sidious was, for all intents and purposes, defeated by Mace Windu. He was just about to kill him, then Anakin went full retard and ruined everything about literally anything. So why couldn't Yoda have done anything better? Mace wasn't more skilled than Yoda.
Mace was definitely a better duelist than Yoda. IMO, Yoda never should have used a lightsaber, since we've seen time and time again in the EU that there's a lot more to the Jedi than flips and lightsabers and throwing shit with the force.
I feel like that honestly doesn't make any sense.
Yoda is 900 years old. He should definitely be a better duelist than Windu.
He just said there is more to being a jedi than flips and lightsabers...

Yoda shouldn't having been fighting at all though... Like christ, he's so small that he needs to do these crazy flips just to get normal swings in so give another Jedi that duel or make the duel entirely force based. Just forgo the lightsabers in the first place because the force is apparently much more powerful.

However I'm at peace with what happens after death personally, after death my body will be returned to where it came and will become one with the Universe. There's some kind of peace in that for me.
