Wait now that can't be right...

The neat thing about sprites is that they could pose the Pokémon in a number of cool ways, but with 3D models, they pretty much have to be in this completely idle and vanilla position, and it looks kinda... boring.

Whereas if they were to pose, it would just look weird.
and the chiptune soundtracks and all....
Maybe it's just nostalgia. idk

you can't talk about gen iii's music without mentioning the route 113 theme or the abandoned ship theme

OR/AS did a great job not completely botching RSE's soundtrack
OR/AS had a really good soundtrack, I just wish I liked the game because I'd certainly love the soundtrack more
You too? It seems like a lot of people I talk to about the game didn't really enjoy it.
How'd you like X/Y?
I enjoyed them, they made some changes I didn't like (Exp Share being an Exp All without a way to share to just one pokemon) but it was a fun game.
Ah alright.
Personally I had some difficulty getting into it. Sprites just have this charm that the 3D models never gave me y'know?
But from the people that have finished it I heard good things about it.

Still hilarious how much your autocorrect was fucking you over last night.

Just GSC. HG/SS was an insult.
How...?
HG/SS were awesome.
The games were, sure.

The music was god-awful.

Thankfully, they rewarded you with an item that lets you play the original chiptune songs when you beat the game.
Ohhh I see.
Yeah the music was pretty forgettable. (Mainly because I can't think of any)

Diamond/Pearl had really good music like Prehistoric said.

Punching things for them to work is silly.
But it works...
Sort of.
Almost.
Sometimes.

I guess you could say that Nintendoes. Genesis doesn't.
Damn. The joke works so much better in the commercial.

this thread is as impressive as your sex life.
Roman is also someone who has never known the touch of a woman

Perhaps never will
I actually laughed when I saw he quoted it.
Why does it seem like anything that has to do with sex Roman is right there to moan and groan? (Or make jokes I suppose, but still)

Don't make me choose. ;-;
>taking this kind of thing seriously.

If you can actually pick ONE favorite song from your favorite bands you don't actually like music.
I'm kidding bruv.
It's more like I'm just too lazy to do it right now.
No what I'm saying is if you can actually pick a single song as your favorite you don't actually like the band.

I can't pick a favorite song for any of the artists I like.
Ohhhh true.

Why is it wrong to like a character who had minimal lines? One would think that if the general public takes an interest in a supporting character they would take steps to exploit that attention.
idk
Literally nobody said it was wrong
It wasn't said but it was implied.
The nature of some replies seem to demean people who like the character. "How dare you like a character that was underdeveloped"
If you catch my drift.

Boba Fett is literally only popular because he looks cool

Boba is still an extremely overrated character for no reason, and what "development" he has is pretty bad.
I never once implied you can't like him or that it's wrong to like him.

Don't put words in my mouth because you're reading something I never said.
Alright that's fine then. Bit of jumping to conclusions I suppose.

It doesn't have to be drastic to change the nuance of the line. The change is noticeable enough.

Also the whole idea of discussing such a thing is what keeps this forum alive. Little things that normally would be meaningless get attention and thought put into them.

So given that thinking it's perfectly logical for someone to be frustrated at a change that as was said "isn't as drastically different as you're making it out to be." Why change it and take away a man's credit, is what Napalm is getting at.
