Man I hate comparing this to Halo 5 but honestly that's what it feels like in my mind right now.
Spoiler Snoke's death feels exacly like something Brian Reed would have done. Fuck what you think about TFA being too similar to the old movies, Snoke was a character I wanted to see developed. Asside from the scene itself which was in all honestly pretty cool, this was handled wose than the fucking Didact getting offed by a shitty grenade. At least we knew something about him. It's worse than Douku, Bobba Fett and Maul combined. Somebody who looks the way he does and as powerful as he apparently was deserves FUCKING SOME KIND OF EXPLAINATION AND BACKSTORY. How did he get like that? How did he seduce Ben to the Dark Side? WAS he Darth Plauges? Was he a new character altogether? Fuck you he's dead now LOL -Disney  Spoiler He was a boring Palpatine ripoff.

Spoiler What even was the point of Hologram Luke if they were going to just have him die 5 seconds later anyway.
What even killed him? Lag? Not enough mana? Did his Force™ Subscription run out?
Spoiler Well first off he was kinda stuck on the island / planet. He was planning on dying there so it's not that difficult to imagine why he couldn't be there in person. Furthermore, earlier in the movie it was stated that the Rey / Kylo force connection would have taken a ton of energy and that if Rey tried it, it would kill her. So it's reasonable to assume it takes a good deal of energy even for that. Luke was projecting a perfectly life-like looking force clone there, that probably took an insane amount of effort (which he showed). And finally, from a more overarching, big picture perspective, I don't have an issue with him becoming one with the Force. It was a nice moment and I'm glad he was able to do so on his terms.

i list the number of episodes i watch in the parentheses, though it's admittedly less clear with things i've completed
