On the subject of perception of posts, Ian seems to have Desty Syndrome. I understand the individual words but the sentence as a whole makes no sense.

Scratch what I said, I already have a replica of a Pickelhaube anyway .

I want this.

You have excellent taste Commissar. Execute any cowards today?
Fuck the nazis for making this stuff negative in the public eye. So good.
Fuck the public eye if I had a replica Imperial German Officers uniform I would wear it everywhere.
Same tbh.

Even the Nazis themselves wore slick outfits.

The fact that you don't have the urge to defend your wife when she's insulted is what makes you a coward. The fact that she's perfectly capable of defending herself is irrelevant.
I don't entirely agree. That's basically just white knighting for your spouse.
An insult is just an insult. If they can handle it then let them, but be supportive of them at the same time. If they need help busting some ass then by all means. Otherwise you're creeping into overly-protective territory.
It's not a cut and dry thing. Feels like most of this argument has revolved around both sides having wildly different interpretations of a scenario in which any of this comes into play.

So, he punched you in the face and that's it? How is that a fight?

no?

he got a good hit in but there were plenty of punches thrown.

also, a good hit would mean you go unconscious due to a concussion.
If your perception of reality wasn't altered a little, then your brain didn't shake, and if it didn't shake then it was a bad hit tbh. Yes, you might leave with a broken nose, but trust me, brain injury is worse. A broken nose is only painful.

my nose and teeth were p bloody so id count that as a good hit. but by all means, call it a bad hit.

Nah I just think it's really low and shows how petty you are to mock someone for how they speak when English isn't his first language.
when did I mock him for how he speaks? I mocked him for being stupid
If you look at his posts he's actually quite adept at analyzing people's motives. He's very efficient understanding what makes someone tick.
he's not AT ALL but okay. Me misconstrues people's "motives" 24/7 and gets easily riled into holding a vendetta against people and often confused jokes and shitposts with serious threads (which is why I fuck with him so much in the first place)

The problem is that he appears to be stupid given the language barrier and that he sees himself as better than most people.
or because he's stupid and arrogant
He's arrogant to be sure. Very arrogant. But have you never taken time to read his posts in an effort to see what he's saying? Even if he's wrong about someone's motives the thought process is there. At the very least he understands the route in which one takes to uncover subconscious thoughts and ulterior motives.

Again, very arrogant but certainly not stupid.

Of course it's not as simple as "being manly is being primitive" but there is some merit in picking your spots. Not to speak for Class but I would guess he views it not as being a wimp and walking away, more so not giving in to someone's invitation for confrontation.

And so because you're not giving in to the invitation you've "won" the thing. Their attempts to demean you fall by the wayside because you didn't allow them to do so. "No one can insult me unless I allow them to do so." sort of thing going on.

While I do agree that you should stand up for yourself, it's not a world shattering event if you just brush off someone's negative comment.

For those of you who have it and aren't riddled with salt over the well established problems, can anyone say what the AI is like firsthand?

The fauna not the combat stuff, do they roam around doing the same sort of generic actions on a loop or do they seem to actually do something moderately interesting?
There was a tiger with wings on one of the ice worlds in my system that walked back and forth near me when I was mining gold. It eventually ran towards me and attacked.

There's also this tropical world in my system that has giant spider/crab looking creatures and I noped outta there before I got out of my ship.
From a distance though, do they do anything like an ordinary ecosystem?

Predators hunting prey, family units, herds, travelling from A-B etc?
I haven't spent a great deal of time watching one herd but when I do there is usually a good mix of adult / child versions of the animals. The ratio of each usually depending on how dangerous they are. I've seen predators attack their prey as well... RIP baby Shelled Owot.

The AI is pretty decent as far as I can tell.
Hmm

It's kinda the lure of this game for me, being able to go around and observe weird new forms of life (attenborough childhood ;-;7) the thing that makes me cautious is if the AI is dull and after a few planets they all follow basically the same pathing it'd be a bit of a disappointment.
If that's what you're looking for I'd be a bit wary although it does it better than any other game I've seen....

Mostly because no other game does that sort of thing. lol
Indeed, kinda why I haven't bought it already.

I'll just keep skimming videos for a while, see what i make of it but it's hard to get a glimpse when most people just shoot everything in sight for fun.
After observing a bit more it appears predators both stalk prey and go in for kills. A giant wolf thing nearly got me like that.

Also I had a run in with a giant shark.

They're not, that's the point. They have to find Kryptonite, or the writers have to pull some stupid shit out.

Batman shouldn't have stood a chance against Superman in BvS, which was by far the dumbest part of that movie.
The fight itself I thought was well done except for the ending of it. The lead up to the fight was awful. There was literally no reason for them to go toe to toe.
