The setting looks pretty cool. The soldiers seem to be clad in WW2 armor and have guns from that era. Basically if it has some kind of story tying into an alternate reality WW2 or something, I'm very sold. I doubt it will but the look of the soldiers / vehicles is making me try to fill in some blanks.

you have ww2 planes flying around (leaving a futuristic, skull parasite-like trail in their wake i might add) with ww1 tanks and modern military apparel on men wielding cold war era weapons.
Pretty wizard. Time travel fuck up game? War torn country using old tech because it's all it has? It's all up in the air.
Do we have any time frame for when it could come out? or... maybe see gameplay... or... understand what, where, how, why, and when?
i bet a months salary we see gameplay at e3.

i dont necessarily think its a time travelfuck up but more of a case of koji picking and choosing elememts from every era he wants that work and mashing them together. the game probably takes place in the semi near future.
he did this all the time in mgs. especially in v, when one second your rocking out to joy division on your tape player and the next youre opening wormholes and shooting rocket limbs.
Hopefully. I just want some kind of context for what we're seeing. Something to point to and say " This is what I'm hyped for." But yeah that makes sense. The era blender is beautiful thing.

You don't lie to people and expect them to be okay with that. Especially not, uh, your own fucking children.
I mean that's one way to look at it. But you have to admit it's a decent lesson in critical thinking. Deducing on your own or being told it's fake seems like a not too harmful way to get across to kids that the world might not always be what it seems. I don't know why, I've never come across someone who was vengeful that their parents told them Santa was real. The logic you're using of not lying to your kid ever seems like a rather cold reality type thing. Not sure exactly how to word it but that doesn't sound like a lot of fun.
