You realize you're combating ignorant, elitist, fanboys by stooping to their level, right?
And?
Just thought I'd make it clear that you're fighting ignorance with ignorance. Go on.

The OP is 21...
So?
What's with the age change? I was talking about the OP in the thread you linked.
Oh, I thought you were trying to give me shit.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Why should everything that happens on B.net be used as a tool against the users still there? Honestly, it's getting annoying. Move on. Nobody here is better than someone else or any other community.
I'm making fun of cringy RPers, not trying to enable Sep7agon superiority complexes.

This isn't the first time I've seen this. That shit's stupid as fuck. Is it for people who aren't outgoing/old enough to experience a real bar or something? That cringeworthyness is on par with roleplaying in Density.

fighting games are like FPS games in that regard, too, but fighters are actually one of my favorite genres because of a few key differences
you can actually train in fighting games and develop strategies that way, unlike FPS
this idea that people can be "better" or "worse" than someone at an FPS is asinine to me you shot me before you did--that's it there's no nuance there
if i shot you first, would that really make me a better player? because that's all it really takes to win--whoever shoots who first. fighting games, i would argue, are a lot more sophisticated
if you lose, it wasn't just because someone hit a button before you did, unlike in an FPS it was most likely due to a much larger number of factors, including dropping combos, your own poor execution, failing to use a better move at a better time, having a bad character matchup etc. etc.
the most nuance i get from FPS games in that regard is, "the gun you used sucked" and how often are the guns fairly placed on the map anyway?
anyway, whatever, i just know people are gonna get all angry now because i'm pointing out the most untouchable genre's flaws
Don't take this as "all angry", but take someone like T2, Pistola, Snip3down, Walshy, Bravo, Gh0st, etc... on in Halo and say that again. That's a pretty big generalization, because FPS games differ in skill levels and different kinds of skill (Halo vs CoD vs Quake, etc...), just like with any genre. I don't play fighting games too often, but it's just like how Smash Bros or Xenoverse is different than Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or Skullgirls. It's pretty unfair to pretend like map control, positioning, gunplay skills (ex: being able to strafe and ghandi hop in Halo), trick jumps, communication, timing, accuracy, etc... don't exist, and that the genre is so simple. People actually train at games like Halo. People set up insta-spawn gametypes on an octagon map, and have people play FFA BRs and snipers to improve their accuracy and those "gunplay skills", as well as spend a considerable amount of time mastering the way the maps flow, along with all of those other skills, in matchmaking. Same goes for Quake, except double because it's really difficult and unforgiving. While I agree that the fast paced twitch shooters like CoD normally boil down to who shot (or often times: sprayed) who first, and how the games are geared at extremely casual audiences, I don't deny that there are people who spend a considerable amount of time studying how the maps flow, and how to dupe the average person, in order to get the drop on them every time, making sure that they're always the first shot. I recognize that there are people in a game like Battlefield (such as LevelCap), who admit that their aim is average, but know how to think/move quickly and unpredictably, as well as know how to control each gun (horiz/vertical recoil, hip-fire accuracy, bullet velocity and drop-off, etc...) differently, making them far better than the average player.

007 Goldeneye. 007 Nightfire, bigtime. I remember loving Metroid Prime 2's multiplayer. Older Mario Kart games.

Based on what I've seen since GwG was established is that they only release the games that don't seem to be raking in much money on that platform anyways. I don't know what you guys expect them to give out for Xbone. The only 3 AAA exclusives that are still making them a lot of money? Not going to happen for a while. The only one I can see happening is Titanfall, once it is truly dead.
Black Flag and Forza 5?
Pretty sure the only reason they chose AC IV for 360 is because it isn't selling as much on that platform, or because Xbone's slim selection of games gives the Xbone version more of a selling point. That's just my guess, though. I could see Forza 5. I don't really know how well it's been doing. I don't know what you guys expect them to give out for Xbone. Guacamelee was in the rotation almost a year ago, and its the best game you can get for the Xbone
It is a quality game, but they already gave it away. And how well is it doing sales-wise? I know they've been practically giving that game away on all platforms for ages. MS also probably has more pull with some indie studio than they do with, say Ubisoft. What I'm saying is they're not just going to give big AAA sellers like Far Cry 4 away for free a few months after they've been released, and outside that realm, the pickings are pretty slim.

I saw a thread talking about MS' plan to release 6 games next month, but didn't see anyone say what they were going to be. I believe they were announced today:Xbone:Pool Nation FX Child of Light Xbox 360:GoW Judgment Terraria AC IV: Black Flag (second half of April) Army of Two: The Devils Cartel (second half of April) I'm pretty pleased by this. I was a pretty big GoW fan, but didn't ever want to buy Judgment. Child of Light also seems pretty decent.

Well it "gets good" because it started out as something that 5 or so guys did in their free time out of boredom, and turned into something they quit their jobs over and built a company around. It's also more appreciated by people that appreciate Halo.
Then it stopped getting good. And then it got pretty good for 3-5 minute action sequences and nothing else. And then it got pretty bad again.
