A 523MB patch came out today, apparently. People still saying they're having a hard time finding games. Bravo said patch notes will be listed shortly.
Also, there's a rumor that we could be getting some kind of compensation for this whole issue, based on a statement that Bonnie Ross made. It could easily be nothing to get excited about, though, because it's not hard to read too far into it and say "FREE PRESENTS".
If I were Bonnie I'd make the decision to open up the Guardians beta now.
It most likely isn't ready at all yet. Hence why the start date is over a month from now. And that date was set back before the MCC launched, when 343 didn't anticipate all these issues. 343 needs to get the matchmaking and other issues in the other 4 games fixed before they open up a 5th game.
