The pacing in this show is a bit fucked honestly. If you have fewer episodes to work with you'd think the writers would focus the main plot instead of using an entire episode's buildup to anticlimactically cut to a fucking jump-smooch.
This episode was like one non-stop scaramouche penis joke for me.

The awkward pole scene is really killing it for me. I wish someone would stop that fucking music, it reminds me of something you'd see in an 80s B-flick. They also actually used that "What's poking me" OwO innuendo. Am I supposed to laugh at the absurdity of this, or cry?

but like what napalm said, the series has gone in a direction that NOBODY (except for 13-year-old shippers and people who missed the point of the first four seasons) wanted it to go
expect fanservice of all types and little else, samurai jack is pretty much dead to me
Jack+Ashi is what I never wanted to happen, so that's already a strike. Depending on what the other fanservice is, some enjoyment might be salvageable. If it's more bloody action I can pass (especially if it's akin to the Orc scene from the previous episode), and if Jack decides "I'll stay here in the future with my waifu because we have hope in the future" or some cheesy bullshit that would be another strike.

Similar headspace with finals, but I'd have to do pretty bad to fuck up my grades at this point.
I agreed to study with someone tomorrow and I'm increasingly under the impression they want to stay in contact afterwards. Not sure how I feel about that. They offered their number for regular communication although we already have a time and place to meet.
I'm also worried about coming up with a research project for the summer on top of training to be a TA next semester and studying for the MCAT (that's going to be really fucking boring).
For some reason I'm extremely insecure about my intelligence right now, I have no idea what's up there. I'm usually insecure about it, but I feel really shitty lately almost exclusively because of it.

Depression is a meme, man up and go do things and meet people. Guarantee 95% of you will feel better and the rest of you need medication.
I have done both of these things.
I refuse to take medication.
I'm not fully operational contextually to my goals, but I've vastly improved compared to where I was two years ago.
When it was relevant, I also refused medications because I hated the idea of pill dependency. I was prescribed sertroline in high school but it never medicated my environment, from which my problems originally stemmed. When I was hospitalized, I realized that in order for me to retain mental independence I had to change my disposition, otherwise others would always interject in how I conduct my life. I think you're similar in the way that your world perspective can't necessarily be medicated by conventional means; in order for you to find any reprieve you probably have to forge the solution.
I also think that for some medication allows them space to alter their disposition, and there's no shame in that.
I changed my disposition rather than being medicated (and I'm still working on it). Maybe something similar could hypothetically work for you.
