Pretty much the same but I also want a different hair style to go along with it, so I'm also nervous about that. Maybe I'll do it over the summer when I'll be holed up in my room or backpacking in the mountains.

i don't really know. i may have seen one but i forget. i didn't realise Elegiac was as significant to this forum as he appears to be.
I mean he produces a high volume of posts, so yeah. People see him around and remember him.
I haven't been around to see if his post rate waned but I assume he's still posting frequently.
he appears to come in waves. he'll go away for a bit and then start posting out of the blue.
Pretty much my pattern too, come to think of it. he gets a lot of shit from some of the users so it makes sense to "cool off" or whatever. I guess, kind of silly to take them seriously in the first place. I guess after a sustained period of it you might not be able to really tell whether someone's fucking with you or legitimately hostile though.

Gotcha.
Best thing I can do is try to balance school and independent study, so I need plenty of cognitive resources for it. I'm really poor at focusing so everything takes me much longer than it should.
I also tend to procrastinate on the things I really want to do...
So for the focus I think I want to get some earmuffs and use those instead of music (music stays in my head and I use it to drown out other noises at the expense of good focus) and study in places without internet to eliminate distraction (I live a few blocks from hiking trails and open spaces). The main thing I'd have to do is make the effort of going out, which isn't very hard so it's a good initiation step for me. Only problem is this relies on the weather staying nice.
For procrastinating decreasing the distractions should help, but also starting a small activity should be a good initiator for staying in the groove and doing my things.
I have a lot to do so I don't know how to really adjust for the volume, but this initial process should be enough for me to get further, I think.

I might actually investigate this more. Eating is great, but also a liability trying to find ingredients and cook constantly. I could save more time for doing other things if I found a full food replacement that's convenient.
That being said I'd like meals every once in a while for celebrating things.
It's pretty popular for quick breakfasts or lunch, rather than complete replacement, though personally my concern is being hungry a couple hours later because of how quickly it probably digests compared to solid food.
That's a good point, overdrinking this stuff could lead to extra pounds if you used more to compensate for hunger. I'm not very worried about that, but I do know I have a quick metabolism so being uncomfortable and hungry despite being full nutritionally sounds disturbing. Depending on the circumstances, I might just deal with it honestly. Being uncomfortably hungry isn't too large of an issue. We could take some pointers from this guy
