It'd be nice for the story to carry a little more weight than past From games.
I've seen a lot of commentary on the role of DS III as a shifting point in the story. From the trailers and detail leaked so far there's evidence something strange is happening to the world, dark may finally see its age realized. By the lore, then, I think there's likelihood of more impact on the universe. But I get the feeling you might not be talking about the lore specifically... What do you mean?

I don't have suicidal thoughts with any intention. Like sometimes I'll think "holy fuck just kill me now" about something trivial. Nothing serious. I'm not depressed either. No time for it.
I don't like the paranoia associated with "suicide watching," but I understand why it freaks people out.
More often than not, it creates communication problems, like if someone's preoccupied with you not offing yourself they're going to try immediately securing your safety (whatever that means) instead of trying to really get to the crux of your problem.

Work your balls off every (well, mostly) minute to the test start time. That's what I'm doing.
If you still have time (maybe you've already had your exam) I might recommend this:
If there are any practice exams, take them now to get a feel for how much you need to cover. based on the type of problems you do worse in you can focus them with more sample problems and class notes/activities you've done explaining everything. I'd recommend also talking to yourself explaining how the problem concepts are working theoretically to get an intuitive sense for the questions.
