There was a lot of fucked up shit that the Europeans did. But at the end of the day no other group of people can say they haven't done the same so it's whatever. This is just how humanity is.
America is a great nation though, for all its shortcomings and the shit that's been going on recently. Does that excuse the evil that was and still is committed? No, but nothing really can. So there's no point in white people walking around self flagellating. I think as long as we all recognize the facts we can move forward.

It's a goddamn shame that the vast majority of these weapons that saw service in the Navy from Vietnam to the 80's were destroyed and mutilated when units replaced them with SAWs.
The 63's left in the world in any configuration deserve to be enshrined.
The 63 is a beautiful looking weapon.

Better than the first?
Hmm... Well for me what makes the original so enjoyable is the world building and production design, not so much the characters. I think this film has the original topped in that regard. I cared about Ryan Gosling more than I did Rick Deckard in the first film.
Is the tone of the film similar to the first?
Yes. The noir is more subtle this time around, but still there.

I was told a couple weeks ago that his fiancee was going to move in, and he asked me what I was going to do. I decided that I am moving out, as she and I don't get along very well. She was very passive aggressive and generally rude towards me over something outside of my control recently; in light of that incident I have decided that co-habitation with her wouldn't go well, especially considering she works from home.
