Even I think Verb's hatred of sexuality is going overboard
It`s more like hatred towards "human insticts take over human mind" thing rather than sexuality alone
I understand and share that sentiment to an extent, but having read his posts it seems that he hates it even within the context of a loving relationship, and outright denies it can be positive in any way.

You assume too much.

I assumed it was something related to hentai. Unsurprisingly, I googled it and saw the word "hentai."

Korra, how dare you have the audacity to repost my beautiful piece, and not even have the common courtesy to like my thread or reply. Plus you wasted it on a discord server about RWBY.

I am insulted. Count yourself struck off the buddy list.

Fuck off, non-STEM.

Taking a break from the shitposting for a sec, I must emphasize that science is forever limited to empirical knowledge. Therefore, it occupies an entirely separate sphere from Philosophy and Theology, and will never render the latter fields obsolete.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Summa Theologica. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Philosophy most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head. There’s also Aquinas' religious outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Aristotelian and Augustinian literature for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Summa Theologica truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Aquinas' existential catchphrase “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.” which itself is a cryptic reference to Christian philosophy. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Thomas Aquinas' genius wit unfolds itself across the page. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Thomas Aquinas tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

haha, oh you deluded soul, you unenlightened pagan. no doubt you cannot perceive the obvious connection between Reason and the Divine. unlike you, I am, I daresay, a true Intellectual, and an scholar of the Science of Philosophy, a savant in the Fine Arts of Argument and Scholastic Reasoning. had you any intellect you would clearly see the superiority of Aquinas' reasoning but, it appears that our Lord in his Divine Wisdom knew that even the greatest intellect would be unable to counteract your gross incompetence. I can only assume that, had the blessed friar lived to complete his great work, he would have written an additional treatise on the ignorance of the heathen :^)

If Rian Johnson wasn't behind this I wouldn't be interested in the slightest. But he is, so I am definitely intrigued.

Lol, isn't this the guy that usually draws over faces, mainly from porno photos?

I think that's a different guy. I know what you're talking about though.

This is Salvador Larroca. He recently took over the art for the main Star Wars series, but prior to this he did the Vader series in its entirety. In that series, he didn't do this clumsy photoshop thing for the faces, he just traced everything.

I thought his art was bad then. I didn't know it could get even worse and Larroca could get any lazier.

Looks like Jamie finally had enough of Adam's shit

Again, I just love that the eyepatch lacks any shading or definition of any sort. I jested that it was an "MS Paint Eyepatch" in my reply to CheesePotato, but in all honesty it essentially is.

Would an MS paint eyepatch even need polish?

Are those faces photoshopped into the comic?

yes, but that's the official art of the comic.
Its annoying me as it feels out of place
Exactly. It's awful.

Reminder the Catholic Church is inherently globalistic and anti-libertarian. There's an actual reason that early Americans distrusted it rather than muh WASPs.

Okay, but the Catholic Church is not a governmental entity; it is a religious institution.

I am wary of supranational governmental entities too, but there's a difference between a Church that exists across national boundaries, a something like the EU.

Now, this isn't to say that the Catholic Church hasn't ever been power hungry or seen itself as a sort of government entity. Before, during, and beyond Luther's time it most certainly has. However, as it exists within the contemporary world, this is not the case.

At a certain point wariness of "globalism" becomes a fear of anythung that unites people across cultures.

Has Crystal even been hinted at/confirmed?
https://daily.pokecommunity.com/2017/09/22/what-happened-to-pokemon-crystals-eshop-release/
"Patches used to allow Virtual Console to work with Crystal have been found in the app code for the Virtual Console versions of Gold and Silver, suggesting that the release of Crystal is imminent:"

beyond that, not really—i'd say the writing's on the wall, but mostly, i'm just going off the fact that there's very little reason for them not to release it eventually, and i'd be very surprised if they never did

If this is true I am definitely interested. I never played Crystal.

This is slightly off topic, but it still applies to Pokemon. What event Pokemon do you guys have? The last Pokemon game I played extensively before taking a seven year break was Soulsilver, which remains my favorite game. All of my favorites and event Pokemon are on that game.

Recently I have been getting back into Pokemon with Omega Ruby, and I have a copy of Black to use to get my Pokemon into the Bank/transporter.

Anyway, as for what even Pokemon I have, I have a Japanese Mew I got at the 2010 championship event in Arlington. I also have a shiny event Umbreon, and a 2010 Event Celebi. The latter event involved Celebi taking you back in time to the period in-between R&B and G&S, where you battle an in-hiding Giovanni.

I also have a shiny Mightyena and Celebi, but I have no idea how I obtained those.

Edit:
Mew

Celebi

Umbreon
