 Lord Vader's personal starship has arrived. I plan to paint it and get it looking as good as possible, but until I get the paints required I'll make due with the decals provided. I also have a standard TIE Fighter arriving later today. Getting this thing out of the sprues was a pain. I didn't have any sprue-cutters, so I used an Exacto-knife, and... blood loss ensued. I cut my finger's joint, the wound was quite deep, and I became very dizzy, started sweating, losing my hearing and vision. But I prevailed. Nothing was going to keep me from building the Dark Lord's starfighter. And I did so. Spoiler As you can tell, my Stormtrooper is missing the gray on the mouth-grill, as well as the silver filters and blue lines along the side. I was applying the waterslide decals for the first time, and ended up messing up really bad and damaging the decals. As of right now I'm searching for paints to get it fixed. From the PC version of Shadows of The Empire. I was familiar with the N64 version, but didn't know the PC version had actual cutscenes. It's nice to be able to assign a voice to IG-88, and the one he has in the clip isn't too bad.

Well JJ Abrams fucked up Star Trek, so I'm hesitant about Star Wars. Obviously it'll be a good movie, but whether it'll be true to the series is another question. I think your interpretation of the trailer is way off though.
I felt that the issue with the Star Trek movie was that it didn't feel like Star Trek, it felt more like Star Wars. I'm not entirely convinced Episode VII will be good, but I'll wait till I see it before declaring it to be awful.

Peace doesn't necessitate the end of all differences or faiths.
His religious philosophy is objectively atheism. His social philosophy, you could call "hippieism" if you wanted to illegitimate his entire belief system down to a buzzword. But he's not against culture or difference, he's against differences that carry war and conflict with them. Like religion. He's not claiming that Germany and France should abandon their unique cultural identity and conform to the same one as the rest of the world.
Regardless, I hate his vision of a utopia.

I don't understand how anyone praying affects you.
They could be donating money to charities instead of donating it to their church. They could be doing something instead of sitting there and saying they're doing something. They could be doing things out of the goodness of their heart instead of because they think they're going to be rewarded by god.
