Heresy. I hate Play Arts Kai, they manage to completely eliminate what makes a character's design unique and memorable in every one o their redesigns, and that's happened here.
Boba Fett has always had a sort of Man-With-No-Name gunslinger vibe going for him in my eyes. Lots of worn cloth, beat up looking armor plates, etc. Play Arts Kai design? Gone. Replaced with high-tech looking armor plating, etc. Essentially replacing the unique aspects of the design with "generic weaboo anime sci-fi", which seems to happen in all of their redesigns.
The Stormtrooper is even worse. They have manages to completely butcher that design.
Yeah, they're awful. I get they're redesigns, but even if you're redesigning something, you have to at the every least salvage and maintain the general feel of the original design. Star Wars doesn't look super-high tech, it's beat up, worn, etc. and even though the Stormtroopers look relatively pristine they still fit the overall art style of Star Wars. As previously stated, this just takes the original design and removes everything unique about them.

They have this video playing in the Hiroshima Museum. Was pretty interesting seeing my teacher watch it and I sat with him. Really makes you question why we let people in power incite wars.
Well, they did attack us. I see what you're saying, but I don't think it applies to WWII's Pacific Theater, at least not in regards to the U.S.

Yes, and so is the manufacturer, Sienar Fleet Systems. Loads of stuff from the EU has been carried over, people forget that a lot of the people working on new material worked on EU projects. Tarkin was written by James Luceno, who wrote a few EU books. The difference between the new canon and Legends is that this time, everything is being properly coordinated. They've got a Story Group making sure everything fits together nicely, and eliminating things deemed to be questionable in regards to the Star Wars universe. After having read quite a lot of the new, canon material, I'm quite pleased.

Haha, it's not very big, only as tall as the Stormtrooper when attached to the base, which raises the model to give it the appearance of flight over the Death Star's surface. It's extremely detailed though, every little detail from the original model has been faithfully recreated. Mine isn't painted yet, and thus looks cheap, but when it is completely painted and some wash has been applied to fill in the panel lines and emphasis the details it looks like this:

It really is a beautiful spacecraft.
I hope they explore further possible TIE configurations in the new movies.
I hope they do not, because I am worried they will create the shittiest designs possible.
Oh, come on. To assume that they will do a terrible job is silly. I'm not saying that there isn't a possibility of something looking bad, but they, in all likelihood, have some really talented people working on the designs of the ships, who want to make things look just as great as we do.
