Part of the charm. Besides, in ESB and RoTJ they look more matte, and thus less like plastic.

Yeah, I really like the Ep. VII version. Perfect combination of new and classic elements, so it looks just enough like the old but still new. Really cool. I'm still curious regarding the second one too.

That's true, but DICE's games usually don't shoot for unreasonable graphical quality, and it's not as though the model is a example of super high quality lighting and reflective surfaces. THat's where Watch Dogs ended up faring poorly. This is just a stormtrooper, and a matte one at that.
It's also a fairly weathered and dirty one, and his weapon has visibly seen enough action too. It strikes me as odd that they are using a non-default model, i'm guessing that model is from use on one of the planetary maps rather than a pristine off-the-shelf stormtrooper (like the ones you'd expect)
Yeah, and I like it to be honest. Makes sense and adds a little character to the design in this case. I love the pristine, glossy armor, but this is cool too.

Really don't want greatest hits of the Star Wars saga again. I want an original story that takes us to previously unseen or relatively unknown locales (I'm sick of seeing the same few planets), that also fits into the canon quite nicely. Nothing that has a huge impact on the universe overall, maybe something a little more limited in terms of scale.
Same here. Battlefront 1 has hardly any new areas to it. Battlefront 2 is just a rehash of the first game which has areas from the 3rd movie. The only two games that tried something new were the PSP games and even then they still fallowed the movies slightly. Something completely new would be refreshing. I have no problem about having areas like Hoth for the MP but when it comes to the campaign I want to see all new planets, not playing a movie battle.
Yeah, I totally agree. The classic movie locations should be confined to the multiplayer.

I'm fine with it in Star Wars and Mass Effect. It just felt shoehorned and out of place in Dragon Age, having a medieval culture be far more sexually liberal than modern day.
I don't want any of it in Star Wars. Star Wars has never been about contemporary social issues. It's always been rather disconnected from the real world. Which, to be honest, is part of the reason I like it. Everybody loves Star Wars; when I watch it I don't have to be overtly reminded of contemporary socio-political issues. If there's an option to have one's character be gay, fine. But under no circumstances do I want anything more explicit than a kiss, be it between gay people or a heterosexual couple. Sex has never been the focus of Star Wars, and if BioWare shoves their bullshit social ideology into it as clumsily as they usually do, then I will be very disappointed.

The OP has a very good point (On the star wars site) Tusken Raiders hardly deserve QQs and sympathy. They killed his mum so he went and slaughtered them all, it's not like he could go and make a formal complaint to the space-desert patrol police who could lock all of them up to serve some sort of sentence.
Kill 'em all and let god sort them out.
