Boba Fett was a mistake. He's nothing but trash.
How? In TESB he's a neat side character. Doesn't do much, but that doesn't mean he's a "mistake".
LOL
So including a new character with a minor role is a bad thing?
It's nothing but trash.
... Alright then.

Lot of Boba Fett in Star Wars #5. He talks a bit too much for my tastes in this issue, but it's not too big of a deal. Spoiler Fett figures out "the boy" is named Skywalker in this issue, so that's a significant development. Looks like Vader will be figuring out he has a son in Darth Vader issue #6 or #7. Also, we'll be getting two new issues on June 3rd.

Pretty girl, but she doesn't sound like she has a strong character.

Also, this girl was hotter that Felicia would ever wish to be.
You're really going through an "I love the roaring '20s phase" aren't you?

Fedoras are still acceptable if you can pull it off
I would like to know how to pull it off exactly. Do I need to wear a nice looking suit with it or does it have more to do with my level of attractiveness?
Because I've met people they say I'm handsome and I've had people that say I'm decent looking. And yes I've met people that say I'm funny looking/ugly.
But the majority says I'm decent/good looking.
Wear period clothing or a nice suit. Then it works.
What if I wore clothes that are acceptable in the 1920s? Like a suit from that area? Made today of course.
1930's, '40's suit would work.

Yeah, they work well with period clothing or a nice suit maybe. Look cool on Rorschach and Indiana Jones. It's trilbies that look fucking awful.

Like Mega 64 said on their podcast people think it's fantastic only because it isn't one of the usual super hero movies coming out and it's something new and refreshing
I agree, but it is nonetheless a very well made film.

What happened?
Spoiler She married Ramsay. They had to consummate the union, and Ramsay forced Reek/Theon to watch while he raped Sansa.

In the books, Ramsay marries a different girl (who is being presented as a fake Arya Stark) and makes Reek "warm her up" by performing cunnilingus. She was like 13 and they were in extremely unsanitary conditions.
... And people like these books? This stuff makes Fury Road look like fucking Teletubbies.
I think the books are fucking fantastic. The entire idea of things like this is that GRRM isn't going to sugarcoat the brutal realities of a medieval-low/middle fantasy setting. These guys, the Boltons, are notorious for being horrible and evil- this is deeply ingrained into Ramsay's character. He brutally tortures Theon and removes every aspect of his former identity. This is someone we're supposed to hate.
Well yeah but... At that point I'd be asking myself "why the hell am I subjecting myself to this?"

You shall not pass through the gates of Valhalla, for you will not be shiny and chrome, but dulled and matte.
Never seen any Mad Max except this one
I'm not going to understand any references here man
The reference I'm making is from Fury Road.

Never seen any Mad Max except this one. I was a bit bored at times, but the music during some intense scenes was noteworthy.
... That's all you have to say about this work of art? The music was "noteworthy"? My gosh, Rocketman. You disappoint me. You shall not pass through the gates of Valhalla, for you will not be shiny and chrome, but dulled and matte.

Such was Friday night for myself. I exited the theater, shiny and chrome.

Haven't seen any Mad Max movies. I don't think I'd like them, too gritty.
Do you mean gritty as in not fun or depressing? If so, not the case at all. Over the top, bizarre, fun.
Really...? I thought it was all gruesome deathmatches and intense survival scenarios. Isn't it like a post-apocalyptic thing?
Yeah it's somewhat gruesome but it's not super serious. It makes up for the somewhat gritty elements with complete and utter insanity, it's great. Hell, in the new movie there's a part where a character under the command of the villain is driving a modded Beatle in the middle of a seizure inducing dust storm complete with lightning and tornadoes and says "what a lovely day!". This same character's group of " Warboyz" also spray their mouths with chrome paint in anticipation of "the gates of Valhalla" (death). There's also a guy with a powdered wig made of bullets. And then there's this:

Fury Road was incredible, but it might as well have been a spin-off.
well yeah it was written and filmed like 25 years after thunderdome came out, this was bound to be very different. but from that very first scene i think you can tell that miller has had this sort of vision for the franchise for a long time
Definitely. It was great in-universe and a fitting continuation, but Max himself felt replaceable.
i think furiosa being the main character was really cool. max still had an incredibly important role in the film because they desperately needed each other in order to thrive. despite his lack of dialogue i thought tom hardy did a great job at conveying emotion/characterization
Definitely in agreement. Really, Max wasn't ever the focus of the films, except for the first movie. He's always been an important character, but nonetheless a vessel (or vehicle, heheh) through which the audience experiences this weird world.
