Elegiac is a fucking retard, we all know this.

I have no idea what you're talking about. My thread is in no way mocking the views of other users or the users themselves.

Here's another image of the figure. I adjusted his armor, belt, and chest panel so it looks better.

I prefer my post-apocalyptic futures to be less... australian. The whole thing felt like going to outback steakhouse or watching Crocodile Dundee or something

"oi need as much gaahzoleen as oi cahn carry" ...ew. ugh. ew.

Show me your musical and theatrical tastes so I can criticize them for exhibiting cultural elements of the nation they were produced in.

Spoiler
Just to make things clear, I actually love The Road Warrior.

Ultra cheesy german dance metal. 99 Luftballons is a fucking awesome song. The last one is waaay too american and country for me. You have a basic taste in music.
Inform me as to your rationale on the last one. You frequently give things feeling too American as criticism of media. Why is something feeling American bad?

Remind me tomorrow to post a picture of my custom made lightsaber. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Wow, that sounds really cool!

It is. It's the first piece of my Jedi costume. Initially, I was going to wait until The Force Awakens to buy Luke Skywalker's RotJ outfit and this saber, but my friend and I decided to be Han and Chewy for the midnight showing. So I just bought the saber now and said fuck it to the costume.

Yeah, as I said elsewhere in this thread I'm going to go as a Stormtrooper. Now, whether I go as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or the First Order depends on the availability of the latter armor set before release. I've heard the new suits are a lot more comfortable from 501st members who were at Celebration, so I would prefer to be a First Order Stormtrooper, but the classic armor would still be really cool.

Ha. A friend of mine just sold his Galactic Empire outfit to be able to afford his Iron Man costume for Civil War (I'm going in my Captain America gear). I've seen it up close, you can't even sit in that thing! Definitely get the First Order. It also looks bad ass. Captain Phasma or Boba Fett would be cooler, though.

I'd love to go as Boba Fett, seeing as he's one of my favorite characters, but I feel a Fett costume would be harder to put together. A company called Anovos is producing Stormtrooper (both GE and FO) for a reasonable price, and seeing as I don't have the time to build a Fett suit I thought a Stormtrooper would be easier overall.

I see where you're coming from. I've looked all over the internet for a good BF costume and couldn't find shit. Stormtroopers are easier to find, I reckon.
It's cos their suit is uniform and easier to mass produce. Fett's is varied and not entirely symmetrical so it's more of a pain to make.

Exactly. Not to mention the vast amounts of weathering and dents required to make a good Fett costume.

I dont understand the appeal of star wars

I don't understand the appeal of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
azula is a charatcer in it
I don't know who that is but I'm assuming I won't understand her appeal.
true power

the dvine right to rule

is just something youre born with

I'd argue Darth Vader felt a similar sense of destiny and greater purpose; to bring order to the galaxy.

I've said it before: girls with guy names turn me on. Guys with girl names don't.

Ears, but only when working in tandem with hair. I'm unreasonably attracted to people with good hair.

You must love Pat from SNL

The packaging of the Sideshow Collectibles 1/6 scale Vader is really cool. It has a shoebox like design as with Apple's packaging, but my favorite part is the art. No pictures, and aside from "Sixth Scale", no words. Just a badass etching of Vader's helmet.

I started with "No Way"
I began scrolling.
As I scrolled, I thought to myself,

"He bought a film quality Vader suit?"

Aaaand then I reached the bottom, realised it was just a...
I'm really not sure what to call it, and decided it was lame.

Then I ate some soft tacos.

I am actually planning on buying a replica Stormtrooper costume sometime before The Force Awakens releases, and then attending the theater in the suit.

He's actually next to a 19" Master Chief to his right.

I'm genuinely confused.  What about that figure makes it worth more than $20?

It's basically a perfect replica of Darth Vader as he appeared in TESB and ROTJ, just in 13" tall form.

For my birthday, which was June 4th, I received currency. I used that currency to purchase something, which arrived about an hour ago.

Spoiler
That something was this:

The lights on his chest panel light up in sequence; they aren't on at the same time. This thing is basically a mini person, it's bodysuit is even made of cloth.

Here's the product page.

CheesePotato, we can work out the details later but we must have Lord Vader and your Sideshow Grievous face off.

As cringy as his presentation was, I think I cringed the most at the end when they played Danger Zone.

I kinda felt bad for the guy, at times it seemed like he was about to fall apart.

The doll thing does make him seem like a serial killer though.

Elder Scrolls wipes the floor with Fallout

You're playing with fire son.
The main reason people like Fallout more than Elder Scrolls.. Is they would rather live in a world that is screwed up by the greed, hatred and ignorance of others.
Like I said in Door's thread in #gaming:

I prefer Elder Scrolls. I never could get into Fallout. I prefer my post-apocalyptic futures to be less... american. The whole thing felt like going to one of those rockabilly-type 1950's diners or something.

Get your kicks on route 66! ...ew. ugh. ew.

Edit: Holy shit we have hashtags?!

Well, it is set in, you know, the former United States.
