As if BUNGiEvisiom is any better

The Bungie that made Halo was certainly better.
Even with 3 and Reach?

lol
3 was great though. Regarding Reach, I understand why people don't like it, but personally I enjoyed the game quite a lot. Custom games and forge were fantastic.

To each his own.
Did you not play 3's campaign? Or Reach's? Awful.

What, did Kat run you over one too many times?
I get that Reach contradicted events from a book the large majority of the Fanbase didn't read and events did need to be rectoned because of it but seriously, other than that nothing other than that was bad. Definitely not the best but, it was still a fun game to play through.
lol

The characters, excluding Jorge (lol they killed off the only character in Reach), were god awful, and there's no plot development until the last few levels.
Like, Noble Team were so irrelevant, they had to fragment Cortana and stick that fragment on Reach (along with  Installation 04's coordinates being found on Reach too, instead of Sigma Octanus IV) just to make them important.

And no, literally nothing about TFoR needed to be retconned. It was perfectly fine (hyperbole) as it was, and would've adapted into a game easily. Reach's story just made everything worse.

True as that may be, aside from the story the game was great. You have to evaluate a game like Halo based on all of it's aspects; not just the story. The mechanics, the multiplayer, features such as Forge, etc. The story may be bad, but that doesn't mean the game is completely bad.

Exactly. I understand people who are big fans of the books would be disgruntled, but most other aspects of the game are fantastic.

Hence why I placed "won" in quotation marks.
Well, I mean, then you kind of consider it bullshit...

"the fight is bullshit"
"but Batman 'won'. so it isn't bullshit"

...at least, in the way that I meant it.

I'm not going to address the rest because ultimately it's a matter of opinion, and no offense, but I really don't care what you think of the story. I personally enjoy it, I understand why you don't, and I'm not going to waste my time arguing why one of our opinions is more "correct" than the other. A debate on the topic wouldn't really go anywhere.

No offense taken, but I'm getting the distinct feeling that I've angered you (somewhat). I hope I didn't come off as rude or abrasive (I have that problem a lot). I was just explaining myself to you, as per request. You had counter-points, I had counter-counter-points. Y'know?

Oh, not at all lol. I was afraid my reply would come off as abrasive. I'm not upset at all.

and that he was weakened due to the nuclear blast

That's part of the bullshit, though. Under no circumstances should a nuclear blast hurt Superman, or leave him in this state.

Quote
enlisted Arrow's help, and "won" the fight.

So, with the help of another superhero, a super-powered exoskeleton, Superman's only weakness (Kryptonite), a nuclear BOMB, and Superman holding back, Batman was able to "win" the fight by faking a heart attack.

Quote
It isn't representative of a fight between the two under normal circumstances, and no one ever said it was.
That's just not true. Like I said, it's the primary justification for any "Batman could beat Superman" argument.

But I digress. It's not that important. I'm kind of sad you didn't address the rest of my post, though...

I'd argue TDKR was before Miller went insane.

I disagree. Still, that doesn't make the book any good.

Quote
Regarding Superman, in the comic he's only beaten because of a number of circumstances worked in Batman's favor. Of course fanboys are going to ignore context.

"beaten"

He wasn't, but I'm glad you realise it's bullshit regardless.

He was beaten, due to expert planning executed at a time in which Superman was in a weakened state. It's not bullshit, it makes sense why Superman didn't "win". Batman knew he would hold back somewhat, and that he was weakened sue to the nuclear blast, and thus, Batman took advantage of these factors, enlisted Arrow's help, and "won" the fight. It isn't representative of a fight between the two under normal circumstances, and no one ever said it was.

Spoiler

Why do you hate TDKR so much?

It's a disservice to Superman (and Batman, but more Superman than anything else) and is the primary justification for simpletons to think that Batman could hold his own against Superman - when in reality, there are maybe 3 contrived scenarios where he would hold his own (not win - hold his own).

Frank Miller is also a sexist, racist pig and to be quite frank (no pun intended), he can't write for shit.
I'd argue TDKR was before Miller went insane.

Personally I enjoy TDKR. It works well as an alternate universe one-off story.

Just don't let yourself get hooked and take lengthy breaks in between

Or don't try it at all.
Go be boring with your Darth Vader toys in the corner.
Better to be boring than brain-dead.
better brain dead than a poor, dull, self-inflicted prolapsing virgin
All I'm saying is, if you're worried about it, then play it safe and just don't do it at all.

I still don't buy his performance. I expect Luthor to be bald, jacked and gravelly-voiced. He doesn't meet any of those requirements.

I don't think he has to be extremely muscular. In shape? Sure, but not jacked.

But yeah I'm not optimistic regarding Eisenberg.
