I'm quite excited, actually. I hope we can customize our Agent, and get armor similar to that in 2. I really like badass helmets.

Cheat, a face we all know, and have come to be quite fond of, given that he is the creator of this forum we all utilize; many of us on a daily basis. But, there lies a secret kept hidden from us all this time...

Fact is, you've seen this face before...

Spoiler

I think Cheat has a lot of explaining to do...

I don't know what my user number is. I'm guessing it's in the teens.

39. If you go to your profile, it's the number at the end of the URL.
Ah, thanks.

Gaming / Re: Details on Fallout 4's skill system
« on: July 26, 2015, 01:35:45 PM »
As Gopher said it isn't possible to dumb down the skill system of Fallout being that its as dumb as can be. A change is nice though nostalgia still makes me miss the old dumb system.
Same. At first I was REALLY up in arms about it, but after Gopher offered his pov, I really kinda sat back and thought about it, and he really is right.

Just the nostalgia getting in the way.

I'm assuming Gopher is a YouTuber or something? If that's the case, would someone mind linking me to the video in question?
YouTube

He's a pretty great YouTuber. This video is quite a ramble and was made before the skill system was actually announced. Gopher does a lot of modded playthrough stuff but more importantly he makes videos to explain all the necessitues of modding FNV and Skyrim. Such as installing script extenders, ENBs, making merge patches etc. You'll pretty much have to watch his videos at some point if you mod those games. He has also made a few of the most downloaded mods on the Nexus like immersive HUD, dynavision, and a few others. All around pretty cool Norwegian guy.

Alright, thanks!

I get the feeling if the situations were reversed the reaction would be very different.
Not really. At least not for me; threatening somebody is never acceptable.
I was talking about the rest of the media. If he had told her 'you'll go home in an ambulance' while putting his hands on her it would be a media frenzy.

My gosh I can see it now: "Radical Right Wing Activist Threatens to Murder Transgender Woman."
The Young Turks would then proceed to rant incoherently.

It absolutely is not, especially not in a mere debate, no matter how strongly one feels about the issue. I come into conflict with a lot of others on this site over my personal views but I wouldn't threaten anybody over an argument, no matter how heated. Least of all in person

I think OP has a real point in pointing out the hypocrisy of the social left and the media when it comes to the kind of things. I haven't heard anything about this until now. I can tell you with a great deal of certainty that wouldn't be the case if the roles were reversed.

One last thing: Was I the only one creeped out by how the trans guy was touching Shapiro? If I were Ben I would've told him to get his hands off me. And before Max says something like "what, because she's transgender?" Physical contact such as that between people who are generally unfamiliar with each other is creepy, at least to me, in any circumstance, let alone one in which the one making the contact is threatening physical violence.

Family is travelling to the mountains of NM where my grandparents own a cabin.

My grandmother is driving her car with us. I just discovered her car has an electrical outlet I can use for my laptop charger..

Time for some Fallout 2.

Seriously? This is horrifying to you? A couple of skinny white guys, in rainbow colors at a pride parade? I am almost surprised, at how timid you all are, to a fucking picture like this. How come everyone has this strange aversion to even looking at stuff like this? It's like, I can just imagine one of you looking at it and yelling "AHHHHH AVERT YEE EYESSSS!". I used to be like that when I was younger, because I was conditioned to think that looking at private parts was inappropriate. So it took me a while to not see a penis or vagina and get grossed out. Now, what do you think I stare at all day, HMMMMMM? Fuck.

penis or vagina
For some reason I highly doubt you frequently look at the latter.

The Temple of The Ocean king, as Class said, becomes a real drag. If you complete a section, you have to play that section, and the next, and so on the next time you visit the temple.

Seriously Loaf, mr. cargo shorts behind them has a much nicer body.
The cargo shorts guy doesn't look bad, but I think the two in the foreground of the picture have very nice bodies. They're slim, and they look soft and cuddly too.
They're like... totally skinnyfat tho. Like, maybe if they toned up a little they'd be nicer.
They're cute.

They're fucking horrifying.

I head Bruce's voice and had to stop before I ran out of air
Glad to see someone else laughed their ass off. I don't see how anyone could possibly take him seriously.
Changing your voice is pretty fucking difficult. Not sure why you couldn't take her seriously because of her voice. That seems pretty fucking trivial.

Regardless, it's pretty weird seeing someone who appears to be female speaking with a distinctly male voice.

OH MY GOD YUCK

What a fucking monstrosity. I can't believe the shit I'm seeing. We're supposed to think of Bruce as a girl with that fucking voice of his? Fucking degenerate. That's one of the most disgusting things I've seen in my life. Holy shit.

It's comical, in all honesty.

A religion-bashing book?

That's a crude way of putting it. But I haven't read it.

But that's clearly what it is. The damn cover says "how religion poisons everything."
"A religion-bashing book" is probably the most clear and concise manner in which to summarize the book.

Not necessarily. "Bashing" has connotations of incoherence and irrationality, which I'm sure is absent from Hitchen's book.

"religion poisons everything."

That's a pretty irrational and unfounded statement to me, which thus leads me to believe the book is going to ignore any and all good religion serves, and go out of it's way to put religion in the worst light possible.

Not really interested in model trains, but I really want to get into working on scale models of tanks, planes, and sci-fi ships. Regarding the latter, sometime this week I'm going to start painting, and then weathering, a 1/72 scale TIE Fighter and TIE Advanced (Vader's TIE).
