Yeah I hated the alterations Lucas made. I preferred the original elements untouched. Some changes I didn't mind, but when you replace objects that conflict with the story or add what was supposed to be a deleted scene and digitize Jabba and reveal him early, it ruins the movie.
Agreed. One thing I dislike but no one else seems to mind is the change to Fett's voice. His original voice is much more menacing and the voice acting is of a higher quality IMO.
Totally. The voice actor was also never credited, and he was actually in season 1 of The Twilight Zone as the train conductor.

Collecting Star Wars figures, from Hasbro to Sideshow.
I'm starting to get into building and painting scale models as well.
Part of me wants to get into building models of historic armor.
But more of me realizes that I don't really have the room to display any.
Yeah that's something I'd love to do but I don't think I have the budget nor the space. I'd like to collect replica Stahlhelms and Pickelhauben, though, which sounds pretty feasible.

I'd be more hyped for Rogue One if I weren't so anxious about it. It's the first anthology Star Wars film they're making! ...Although, it'll be nice to finally have a coherent story regarding the theft of the Death Star plans, for once. And I like the fact that they're using the word 'Rogue'.
Yeah it sounds like a cool concept and I'm really liking that thus far, they appear to be amping up the gritty aesthetic of the universe.

 One the left there's a helmet that screams "shadowtrooper" to me, in the center we see, for the first time, what looks to be a symmetrical OT Stormtrooper helmet. And finally, on the right, we have something that looks somewhat like a Scout trooper helmet, which, coupled with the tan coloring, makes me think this is some kind of trooper armor designed for jungle/rough terrain. Looks cool.

Just a reminder that the Enterprise-A was perfectly capable of destroying a planet by itself, whereas the only thing capable of that feat alone in the SW universe is the Death Star. And the Enterprise isn't even a warship.
Non-canon tech manuals aside, ST ships are actually orders of magnitude more powerful than those in SW.
Well it depends on what you mean by "destroy." If you're referring to completely blowing the planet up, like the Death Star, then yeah. But if you're talking about simply rendering the planet uninhabitable by reducing it's surface to molten slag, then a Star Destroyer is capable of that as well.
No, I mean it could completely annihilate a planet.

Nah I'm just messin' with 'ya. The Enterprise/A/B is cool. I like TNG but can't stand the design of the Enterprise-D.
