In terms of raw bending power, Azula definitely has the edge.  Kuvira has never struck me as someone with a ton of natual ability.  Instead she got as good as she is entirely through hard work and disciplined training.  Azula was born with a ridiculous amount of talent, so she hasn't had to work as hard to achieve success.

In terms of fighting style though, it's a much closer call.  As I stated on the Unalaq v. Kuvira thread, I think Kuvira applies an airbender's mentality to earth/metalbending.  She dodges and evades and then counters with a strike designed to off-balance her opponent.  She generally aims for her opponent's limbs rather than their center of mass.  Her style is designed to chip away gradually until her opponent is too worn down to fight back.  Azula is more direct and willing to go for the kill right off the bat.  She's also probably the smartest fighter in the original series--she uses the environment to her advantage, and she knows exactly where and when to apply pressure to win.

The question has been raised whether Kuvira could use her metalbending to make a lightning rod to block Azula's lightning attacks.  It's certainly possible, but even if it succeeds, it won't put Azula out of the fight.  She's smart enough to change tactics if she sees it happen once.  Kuvira's metal armor though, is susceptible to overheating if Azula lands several direct hits with just normal fire.  Then Kuvira is in danger of literally being cooked to death.

The big question of course is Azula's mental state.  If she's fully in control, like we saw in the last episode of Book 2, I think she wins pretty comfortably.  If she slips for even a second though, Kuvira will be all over her.  I say Azula wins 75% of the time.

they would both lose to being hit by a car
Azula can move at subsonic speeds, so a car could never hit her

Kuvira would literally just bend the car before it hit her. . . like you picked the two worst people in the Avatar universe to try to apply this to

lol

Some of my favorite games ever:

Wind Waker
New Vegas
Halo 3
Bad Company 2
Pokemon Soulsilver

No offense, but who even cares anymore.

It's cool you're passionate about debate. I guess I'm just apathetic to all of this shit at this point. I don't like the prequels, but I'm far beyond the point of being willing to argue with someone about them, or even reviews of them.

so, someone dug up an old 4chan post from december 2018
Quote
My most wanted DLC is still my Sylux and [Adelaine] dream team, but...
>Doomguy, 2016 design but with Eternal's exposed biceps and arm blade
>Monster Hunter with M/F alts each wearing a different armor
>Dragon Quest 3, 4, 8, or 11 hero, alt colors based on the rest of the series.
>Banjo+Kazooie

the fact that this guy was able to predict not only the dragon quest hero, but ALL the different hero alts as well from all the specific different games they're from, gives this leak a lot of credibility

i for one am not okay with doomguy being in smash, but if he has to be in the game, then so fucking be it i guess

pretty lame though

I don't see any issue with Doomguy. DOOM has been on the SNES, is a landmark title in the history of video games, and I think that Doomguy is great as a representative of the FPS genre.

Yeah, the source material is violent, but I feel that you can still convey doomguy's attributes without gore or anything.

Plus, he's just a fun character period. He might be my favorite silent protagonist.

There's loads of fun little things you could do with him in smash, like make his icon at the bottom of the screen the original Doomguy face.

I actually haven't started yet lol. My orientation for the park in Tuesday August 6th, but I can tell I'm probably really going to like it. I have several friends in MK so It'll be easier to do things with them before/after work. I play Yugioh with one of them in the cafeteria in the tunnels underground.

That's good man! How do you enjoy working there?

oh there are underground tunnels? that's cooler than the park attractions.

Aside from cafeterias, are there any other amenities in the tunnels?

Got any pictures?

Sure! My username is Juicy-Shaq-Meat. I don't have the stuff that came out post Forsaken, and my group never finished the Leviathan raid or the Forsaken raid, so I'd love to do either of those.
Sent you a friend request.

So you wouldn't have Last Wish, then? I thought that came with Forsaken?

Oh, I bought the Forsaken annual pass yesterday, so I have everything now.

Last Wish is the raid that comes with Forsaken. I never got the chance to play it.

Is the post-forsaken stuff worth it? Been wanting to get back into it, as I wasn't able to do the raid with anyone and just kinda stopped playing.
Overall, yes. The individual DLCs vary in quality but as a whole they give you a lot to do. The game in its current state is probably the best it's ever been.

Black Armory is shite but has a really fun raid.
Joker's Wild is good if you like Gambit but also contains the weakest PvE activity in the game.
Penumbra is hands down one of the best DLCs the game's had. It could have easily been two DLCs with the amount of content it has. Menagerie is one of the best activities in the game, Crown of Sorrow is really fun and Tribute Hall gives you more incentive to do other activities and comes with an Exotic Quest.

Alright, cool. It's good to hear the game has been improving.

"I'll be living with it for the rest of my life"

dude, stop. It's a dying offshoot forum, not a criminal record. It does not matter whatsoever. Move on, stop obsessing over this garbage.

Yeah go fuck yourself, I'm not obsessing over shit.

Your behavior would indicate otherwise.

And just what the fuck am I obsessing over then? The only thing I see now is us arguing! Jesus Christ man.

You obsess over this website, Your interactions with the users here, everything. You can't ever let it go.

C'mon man, how does the phrase "I'll be living with it for the rest of my life" being used in regards to fucking sep7agon not indicate obsession?

Its not an obsession. I even asked Cheat at one point to clear my entire post history and start over.

He said no.
Why does it matter?

Because Google indexes this shit and should anyone search for it I'm going to become a permanent punching bag for past shit on here. That's why it matters.

I can't make this anymore clear than I already have.
Why would anyone care enough to do that?

Because this website has a fucked up history?

You are assuming that anyone knows or cares about it
