The Flood / Anyone know where to get cheap, SAFE 40mm gas mask filters?
« on: September 29, 2015, 09:54:50 PM »
See above.

I've been wanting a Soviet GP-5 mask for a while but don't know what filters are safe. I know most don't contain asbestos, what I'm more concerned about is lead and other materials within the filter that could have broken down over time. Any help is appreciated.

You seem much more amicable than one might assume based on your posts.
TBH you should just respond to posts in video form rather than typing replies, heheh.

1871-1914.

Also,

Quote
Enlightenment era during america's colonial days. a time where people questioned the status quo of including religion in every facet of their lives

You know that the Philosophes were a very small number of people, right? And the people in the colonies that shared their views were also a very small minority?

Because if you're implying that the Enlightenment is the common man questioning everything about his existence then you're quite incorrect. It's more like a well educated upper class man reads literature by one of the Philosophes and then talks with his small club of four people about what he's read.

What did you just get done watching? I don't really watch TV shows aside from TNG, X-Files, etc.

All the religious people I know are flipping out over this because hurrr muh biblical prophecies

The only ones flipping out are the retirees and other baby boomers who have nothing better to do.

All of this blood moon crap is superstition that some idiots have come to believe is prophesized by the Bible (it's not).

Never seen any MM and have no intention to

Wow guys, Class deliverately avoids watching good movies. What a badass.

I wish we could be as cool as him.
I just don't like apocalypse movies. Sue me.

What about post-apocalyptic movies with BDSM Gear and giant demolition derbies.

Let's discuss the travesty that is Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Since there would be a majoir nuclear winter going on from all those nukes how exactly did any type of plant and animal life survive those years after it?

SCIENCE!

Spoiler
The Fallout universe doesn't adhere to realism whatsoever. We're talking about a series in which radiation has the potential to give you a 200+ year lifespan. Just roll with it.

It was a mistake.

I love all the other Mad Max movies, and something felt wrong within the first five minutes. I had heard it was bad, and that's why I hadn't watched it until now. What I didn't know was just how bad it is.

What's with the fucking stupid Tina Turner song in the beginning?
Why the fuck does Max have a Monkey?
Max talks way too much.
There's cursing, which is stupid (none of the other Mad Max movies have cursing).
Where's the violence? Pretty sure no one but Blaster died.
Where's the BDSM gear?
The kids are stupid and I want them to die.

All in all, it's a bad, kiddy film in a series of awesome action movies. It's a shame this is the note Mel Gibson left off on. It doesn't ruin the series like the Prequels ruin SW (IMO), due to the overall disconnected, episodic nature of the Mad Max movies. However, I still had the urge to watch the Road Warrior or Fury Road as brain bleach.

I'm obsessed with Nazis

I'm not a Nazi, I'm an ardent monarchist.

Nazis were a bunch of occultist freaks with no respect for human life and are responsible for tarnishing German history, and twisting German (especially Prussian) culture into something evil. Their actions have resulted in the impotent Germany we have today, where the national pastime is self-flagellation.

It was monarchists who tried to assassinate Hitler. It was a monarchist (Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck) who, quite literally, told Hitler to "Fuck himself."

I'm a monarchist. I hate the Nazis just as much as everybody else.

If the issue is balancing then I think it's rather premature to call the game "broken." It's the alpha, and weapon balancing can be fixed.

Regardless, we'll see how the game is on Oct. 8th when the open beta releases.

only because if batman died that would be stupid because they wouldn't be able to sell more comics

#GETFUCKED

It's a standalone animated film. Not a comic (although it might be based on one).

1) German defeat in WWI
2) No Holocaust, German Empire would still be around
3) Germany wouldn't be impotent and spineless, and wouldn't slowly be turning into Little Syria and Turkey.

God you're so obsessed with Germany

It's almost Elegiac-tier fox obsession

Elegiac is far more cringeworthy than me.
almost being a keyword

"Almost" implies it's pretty close. I stated he was far more cringeworthy than I.
