The scientists and soldiers are equipped with thick suits to keep some radiation at bay and gas masks.
The Austrian Empire respectfully requests Antarctica leave it's domain, uninhabited and irradiated as it may be.

I didn't know we were supposed to be in the 60's. All of a sudden Korra had railguns and gave me a prototype MAC so I assumed we were in the modern day/some weird anachronistic era.

The majority of our military forces were in the middle east, so the Empire has not suffered extensive military losses, although it was affected. The Great Wall of Trum--Austria had to be abandoned. Until Austria has been cleared of radiation, the capital is now Neue Vienna (formerly Dubai), former UAE. The Weltkrieg has not hurt our faith. yeah I guess 30k can decimate 300k as long as you have MAC guns and "mobile AA guns", whatever the hell that means
